Let's try and be pragmatic about any forthcoming announcements either from the government or from BEM through an RNS.
Bem has no control over the timing of the government's release of information.
As more than one person/department has access to the final decision, it is conceivable that a 'leak' will happen, usually followed very quickly by a confirmation or denial.
As for BEM's route, that is bound by RNS releases. Although the RNS system is essentially a 24 hour service, it is bound by the London stock exchange rules who own it.
RNS releases, especially one of this magnitude are usually published one hour before trading opens at 7.00 am.
It could be said that government departments are not operational at this time. That said, is it more likely a leak or official announcement would occur during the day or as Budge has requested outside of normal trading hours?
The only other release time would be two hours after market closure.
I somehow cannot see how these narrow timing band's outside of normal trading hours will coincide with the government's release of its findings, official or leaked.

Either way an approval, approval with conditions or rejection will result in a mad scramble resulting in some investors being disappointed.

Just my opinion at this time.

Eric, Suzy told this BB not long ago that her average was around 6p, hence my comment.
I used to have many more shares than I do now, but over the years have now got a reduced holding that doesn't owe me.
However I have still been unloading a few on the way up and still trying to trade this upturn, a bit of sport really.
I say trying, because right now, you can't always get the trade you want.
Had no trouble selling but some difficulty buying.
As for the decision not being a positive one, despite all the positive rhetoric it's still a 50/50 bet in my eyes.
Like everyone in here, I remain confident.

You could sell half and enjoy ride with absolutely no more worries Suzy.
Just ask yourself, is it better to be out of the market with half your potential profit wishing you were in, rather than being in the market, with a loss, wishing you were out?
I know which one I prefer.

Regardless of anyone's future plans here (buy, hold, sell) unfortunately this will become a further obstacle to anyone wanting to execute their chosen path.
Liquidity is already a problem here, just look at all the price monitoring extensions being issued.

Sweden's trade balance (MoM) for December, released this morning, revealed a negative figure of minus 5.50 billion SEK.
Seems they are importing more goods, raw materials and services, a deficit can focus the mind.
Looking like they could do with a bit more "home grown" iron ore, to use or export.

Folks have to make their own mind up, it's no good asking others on here for guidance.
The thing here is you have to decide if this market is just in a temporary correction, start of a more prolonged bearish stage,
a crash, a slump, normal part of an upward trend, or any other synonym you can think of.
Of course the analysts have a definition with percentage values for all these terms.

I get the impression from comments on here over time, in the last downturn (covid) some on here did nothing but watch the value of their investments decline, and watch even longer for them to recover.
But as I said you have to make your own judgement.
