I want to check something with the help of this great board re how our shares are valued, and more particularly what is 'baked in' to the SP. Various references to broker notes/pence per Moz say that we have c.7 Moz that produces the current price. And then there is talk about 12.9p and 12p. I think a lot of people need to understand (including me) what value is counted within this current SP, and then how (say) the 20p everyone is excited about seeing soon comes to pass. What I'm trying to say is that the 20p isn't *additional* to the current SP, and that a fair bit is already counted in to the current SP. Correct? Thank you in advance.

Thanks Trucky, good to know. And edging towards a billion quid. Part of the reason for highlighting this is so people reading do much in to NCM capital raising can see they prob don’t have enough cash if a takeover is in mind, with all their other opps and commitments. And that, for me, suggests a more symbiotic relationship rather than a buyout.

A billion AUD is around 550GBP which is HAV. I think it will soon be time for GH to revisit his initial thoughts. When the full HAV value is established and then with Scallywag hopefully showing itself to be great too I would like to see the billion value of the company in GBP. He was right about the company value target then, soon to be restated in a different currency?

Just seen the bother that I inadvertently created - not what I had intended ! In the flurry of posts last night about the interview I wolfed them all down as info, and had misread @SocialistB's 16.08 post as a quote from the interview. It was SB's own view which is where the mistake happened. I'm not sleeping well at the moment and finding the lockdown hard going, so I fully believed this was a quote from the interview, and I haven't been able to read the transcript or listen as I am working full time too (thankfully). Lesson learned, apology offered, sleep required. I'm in GGP to a decent extent myself which is why I hang on almost every word. Game changing to my life when this goes to the higher highs, and I am here for a long time. ATB

My view FWIW is given Mr GH's clear indication that this will stay in the range of 9p-12p for (did he say) the next 6 months (or so) . I read this as this would bring us to the Sep/Oct reports/MRE/drilling quarterlies etc, at which point it could be a different price. But if he is also saying full shareholder value may come years after that my belief is that nothing will happen until the new year and that this is the long game.

Sincerely appreciate the strategic overview Magic. For the non-geo like me it’s both interesting and exciting. Read it just before sleep and dreamt about Gringots Bank from Harry Potter stacked out with gold coins and bars. Loving this board. GLA

Cheers JS, and the input from contributors is helping me loads in making the right decisions. So basically I'm doing nothing until post-Scally as I'm an investor now. Given how many shares I've got wrong as an idiot trader in the past I'd suggest to others they should let this ride it's course. Don't act impulsively unless you are trading. Invest. Do the lockdown thing and lock down your investment here. Patience. Patience. And patience.

Though every time I look at the presentation today and see those white targets, and people use the words 'bullseye' .....
Agree that the right approach is to temper our expectations and work on what we have coming up in the near future.

I'm not keen on a sale, but should a sale take place the clever bit of the presentation is to show what future value is in the ground so that a cheeky offer is averted. It also says - you will have to price in all our future targets, and LOOK ! There are 8 monsters in the ground - and have we mentioned the other targets around Oz?

We know what's currently happening:
- Havieron value is being worked up for MRE
- GGP are now shouting from the roof tops that a further 8 targets offer massive opportunity (in the presentation today)
- And there are future opportunities for GGP with the named targets in Taz etc

So how do you approach the negotiations with NCM? I'd say:

- We want $xbn for Havieron equal to 20p a share
- We want each of the Scally targets to be values at 7m oz average to allow for ups and downs. That is 8 x c. 7-8p = say 56p
- Oh, and you can have the others if you want, but we might spin those out to a new company and have another chance to make a mint as we have a great success ratio

Anyway I'm not a technical gold expert, just musing about how you would negotiate a sale if it is to be sold off. Much to my regret though as I like the idea of each location's value being revealed on a three-month newsflow. And watching the share price multiples growing.

Watching MMs today who need to appreciate any downward manipulation could be viewed as.....manipulation. If ever they need to remember the importance of fair and demand-led market making, this is is the time. GLA

It's almost as if MMs said to their big clients late on Monday "you've got 48 hours to pile in" whilst the SP was held. Then today they said "OK, we'll give you late ones until 830" after which they decided to let the thing loose from 11am.
