All I can see on Hotcopper so far is a Dividend/Distribution Announcement for NCM. Will look in before lights out tonight; usually about 1130pm UK if so. What a positive couple of days. A hat trick tonight would be above and beyond expectations so am expecting next week for NCM drill update as others observed. ATB

No point in fretting. Best to manage your own expectations a bit by setting an internal alarm to check back in October. Switch off through Sep, if news comes sooner then fine. We all need steel cojones for just a bit longer :)

@CTC thanks for confirming it was published data and that they have made their own interpretation. I disagree with the approach they have taken but appreciate that don’t want to look like mugs by overstating things.

Anyway, whilst I disagree with them we at least have their method spelt out now and should be able to use the logic to work out the improved valuation when more data is released from drill results.

I was struck by them saying something like ‘with the information supplied’ to them to get to these figures. Would they be using updated data not yet released. If so they also reduced their figure of Moz by 0.5. Felt like they were a bit ahead of the latest data we had seen. Tell me to go away quietly if this is wise of the mark. BW

Yes, it’s his timing choice. I want us all to do well by holding for imminent good news, but each makes their own choices. Still quite a sizeable event though, no wonder it has kicked off a debate.

It’s a bit sweeping to say his reasons don’t really matter! From what you say I think you mean his motivations could be purely personal and therefore not so significant re GGP’s specific position and our overall trajectory. ?

Interested to see if NCM is where SB’s gone next. Still with links to GGP but also tuned in to the sector consolidation we hear about.

The cagey words from SB are totally expected, and this was unlikely to be a big announcement for GGP anyway. So no surprises for me.

3 months or so until I believe we’ll see the wood for the trees, so we’re getting nearer.

We have an (as yet) unfathomable resource which is why nobody will give figures until a cagey broker does. And they’ll only go for 6m or 7m oz at the outset for HAV so again some people may feel underwhelmed.

I said before this is an evidence based SP. So the metaphor to have in mind is of a angler playing charades and using their arms to stretch out as far as they go - which only go so far. Because what the angler can’t say in the rules of the game is WHALE. Can’t say it, can’t measure it yet, can’t tell you how much it weighs, can’t stretch the arms beyond his physical boundaries . But it’s a flippin great WHALE and it will take a short time to dive deep enough to see it in its full glory. Hold your breath. It’s a very deep dive ! All good
