You say you have the price of a semi in lgen,big margin there.You can get a decent semi here for 250k, other areas of UK upwards of a million or 2.

Lgen will prove to be an excellent investment long term .I have Aviva too.

The FT report on parallel refinancing talks suggest otherwise. Parallel universe springs to mind.

The truth is the Wood Group board are a disgrace. They have nearly killed the whole group. They albatrossed Wood with a crock full of crap called Amec Foster wheeler ,a company jam packed with bribe accepting bent crooks. Thus saddling Wood with inherited debt and future million dollar fines that have been proved unaffordable.

The board have hoodwinked investors since with fantasy filled pie in the sky wholly untrue things can only get better statements . I would have a billion dollar order book if sold peanuts at 75% value. Their profit margins are wafer thin or may non existing , my leaning is to the latter.

They have been totally inept for years . Only good at hoodwinking shareholders small and large. Get rid of them fast to save Wood.

They have managed to ruin past bids believing still that they can stand alone going forward.I dont believe them or trust a word they say.

Be prepared for another screw up.

I hope they don't and manage to fall over the line.

Declining share price over the last 5 years suggest huge pressure , loss of divi too.

To inject cash into a refinance deal can ease pressure on debt payments.Fundraiser would aquire cash to reduce debt.Somewhat akin to injecting raised cash into a home mortgage to ease re payment pressure or clear debt sooner.

Who knows what WG refinance deal will look like.

It is possible that Wood bidder is in control in wanting to see what a refinance deal may look like or even if a refinancing deal is palatable enough to table a solid acceptable bid. Good refinance deal equates maybe to good acceptable offer.

Only time will tell us.

Leases as I expect are legal contracts and will affect a companies borrowing power.Much in the same way if you lease or borrow cash for that shiny new car on your driveway it will affect how much you can borrow on a house mortgage.

A debt is debt whether today's debt or next year's debt.There is no hiding it.
