Noticed that GYG dropped in may and made a good recovery but a lot depends on the reason's why and I think I the latest drop was due to orders been late, but not looked to much into the company

Not been to nosey, but how long have should been trading koovs and what's your average now.

Great information last night about trading and someone mentioned the 3 day rule that I didn't know about regards a price that has dropped.

It was the stress that brought on my stroke, luckily I recovered but every now and again I get fatigue but it could have been a lot worse. That's why I tell people to enjoy life now because you don't know what's around the corner.

Predator, I guess you can call it the simple life but worked hard all my life working stupid hours Inc Xmas days and all over bank holidays. After 31 years with the same company working my way from a packer to management, I decided that was it and I had decided to do 2 days aweek driving for a delivery of farm foods but they went bust and then I had my stroke, so decided, that's it with work and live a life of leisure. After saying that, I do admire the people on here who has gained a good life by dealing on the stock market which has given them a good life. Not only a hobby but it's rewarding when you gain.

If my wife had her way, we would be living in Thailand, she keeps on at me about buying land or a house, but quite content in going over 2 a year during the winter for a couple of months. My wife is Thai, waits on me hand and foot.

Regards my investments, I normally buy into shares around the 5k on each company and maybe double like I did with Boo to reduce my average. I just don't like to over expose myself but anything less than 5k, I don't feel that the reward is worth it, it's like buying 1 koov share for 18p and paying comission of £8

Joe, I live up in Cumbria, so house prices are low and still are low, 2 on the cottages that are close to me are owned by people down south and use them for holidays, biggest regret was not buying a few of them to do up and sell, at the time, the cottages where selling for £4000 upwards, but in different states of condition. But great area that we live and great views.

Regards share dealing, it's a hobby for me, I may not be dealing in 10,s of thousands, but you need it to be worthwhile.

In the days before the internet and only had the papers to do research and a phone number to call a broker, me and a mate was sitting in the works canteen looking in the financial times looking for a share for my friend to buy.
Having just been over to the Carribbean, I noticed a chain of furniture stores call courts, at that time courts furniture was big in the UK, but at the time the share price had gone down from say 200 to 20p, not knowing the reason why, we though it would be good to buy shares in the company because it had stores worldwide. On the Monday my mate invested £8000 and by the Friday the company had called in the receivers and out of business. Those days £8000 was a lot of money, I felt part at fault because I was telling him about the stores over in the Carribbean, but at the end of the day, it was his choice, but if we had done proper research, it would never had happened

That what scares me about SIPPs, day trading, Its not investing, Its gambling IMO it can get addictive to say the least.

Not sure what is holding Boo back, but good times will be ahead, Its just when.

Noticed that Boo is wanting to change its name to Boohoo group which you can find on the Boohoo website in the AGM file, Maybe some time in the near future, PLT will become the main brand, but expect Boohoo to have 100% in PLT.
I also expect Boohoo clothing to become another brand name in the near future due to the slow down in growth.

Good debate, May i add, only invest in the Aim what you can afford to loose, i am about 20% down on Koov, But i am lucky, I have my funds split equally over 3 shares and i am learning lessons along the way.
i am not planning on topping up with koovs, its a big risk and a bigger risk than Boo imo

Talktalk is finishing everything to do with mobiles and sim cards and have teamed up 02 to more or less pass customers onto 02 via a cheap £3 deal. My wife was on a sim only contract at £4 a month and they tried to get her to go with 02, but their is a good offer via martin lewis site for £6 a month and unlimited phone calls in the UK with Vod which i will end up going on
