If you remember around November, Carphone crashed to around 150 and i managed to make 17% before Xmas, Since then i have been 15% down due to Boo and up at 25% after selling Boo and a 30 minute trade on koovs.
What i could not understand and i got sucked in was the media news on Boo and the shares jumped up and a lot of that news was regarding funding, Then the news came out regards funding and NOTHING!!!! plus i doubled up too. Just shows, you cant second guess a share. One thing though, If you listened to everyone in these chats, i would be broke by now with the likes of UKOG and a few other penny shares, but i am tempted to put £500 in each and see what happens

I have EQN on my watch list, but what i am finding with a lot of Aim shares, If your not in there, then you miss the chance of a good price and then it costs you due to the spread. EVG looks like its on a downward trend, but i don't know anything about the company. I am currently setting up a SIPP with my pension that i have, so planning on what i will select for my portfolio but Thomas Cook seems to be a good share to jump into in the near future and Carphone warehouse. tell you what was a shocker yesterday, The Caribbean share that raised upto 70% and all the way back down, when it was rising, i was thinking, should i , Pleased i didn't and a lot of these shares i have not heard about., so carry's a risk

Nice to hear that you bought back in, regards the indv, all the bad news is out IMO and the share price has recovered quickly on past drops. Regards holding on to a falling share, I did that with boo and if I hadn't, it's quite possible that I would have made more. koovs has cost me about 40% of my profits, lucky I only had 4k in it but lost 1k.
Overall I am 16% up on total profit but considering I was up 17% in December, so not a good year, but only been trading since November after a few years out.

Am still in talktalk and boo but not moving to much, so tempted to sell some and buy more indv, but there again, don't want to over do it after loosing to much in koovs, but I will buy back in again when the time is right.

Morning Joe, yes still holding and looking at staying in for a few weeks and tempted to buy more, it looks that all the bad news is out now and the company who was making the cheaper copy of the drug has stopped making and selling the drug that's cost indv a list of lost profits, so in time the books should start looking good. I think there is more bread on the table short term. Time Will tell but I was sick of burning money on koovs but I will be back in at some point

Putney, you can't talk about fellow investors like that, we all make decisions and I held on to boo though the bad times and still a holder, I just want to try and make money, yes the spreads maybe big, but you have to take that into account, no regrets about selling koovs yesterday at 15.70 since I would be another 2% down.

Chinner, some will be weak and fill there pants and buy into another company and try and make money until the time is right to buy into Koovs ;-)

I dont have a price, Once i sell INDV, Then i will be back in.

First time buying into this stock, Up 6% due to buying to late in the day and failed to sell before 4.30pm, But looking at past trends after a low, It seems to go up, So hoping it will follow trends.

Looking into the history of the drop, All the bad news was out before Results

Jambon, Regards just about when everyone has given up hope and sold out it will rocket lol!! , I agree, But its a chance that i took today, Very similar to Boo, Waiting for the Jet packs to ignite only to fizzle out like a sparkler.

I have decided to wait until tomorrow and see what happens to INDV, At the moment i am up 6% and i was 25% down on Koovs so its off setting my losses, But i will be back

Agree, I used to make all my money this way on Carphone warehouse and others, But then hit a bad spell, but its nice to have made something, well that's if i sell
