Sky News has learnt that Sir Charles, who was reinstated to an executive role last year, used an 11% slump in TalkTalk shares on Friday to mop up another £750,000-worth of stock, according to a person close to the company.

The move, which inches Sir Charles's shareholding slightly further above 28.5%‎, will be announced to the stock market on Monday morning.

One insider said it reflected the TalkTalk founder's belief that the company is undervalued, but added that it was not the prelude to a bid to take the company private.

Stock exchange rules make a full takeover offer mandatory when a shareholder increases their stake above 29.9%.

I was reading that he is close to the percentage of shares needed to try and take the company private since his last buy takes him 2% I think under what's needed, if that happens and depending on the price, a lot of share holders could be out of profit but buying now, investors would gain

Can't get onto the link, but I read a lot of articles and some editor's are like the weather, fool is one of them and can change week by week. Investermania I think it's called were always ramping up prices on certain shares and came to a point in not reading them anymore

If it was down to me, all those people on benefits would be down on the farms picking fruit unless they are not medically fit enough and the same for the rest of the jobs you have listed.

My answer is, They are getting to much of the tax payers money, So if these unemployed went out and found jobs that you listed, then there would be no need for EU people to come to the UK.

Regarding Doctors, We have all these young English people going though medical schools, You would think that we would be over loaded with junior doctors, but we are not, The government need to look at why.

Mahmud Kamani, Carol Kane, Please take note, We private investors are getting a very poor deal here, we are trying to support the company with very little in return unlike board members who have cashed in their shares which in effect has a knock on effect with shareholders.

Regards a new CEO, Why not, least there is someone independent who can take the company forward and to make sure that the companies private investors are thought about.

Markshares, I was reading the UKOG Chat before 8am and PIs was saying about drinking champagne and that today was going to be a better day, I checked it out and added it to my watch list on IG, and becausze of the spread between buy and sell at the time, I decided against it, But its a risk if you have not done any research.

I personally think that boo should appoint a independent CEO and that family members take a back seat, I don't think that the CEO Inc carol have the set skills to run a billion pound company and they need someone to take them to the next level. It's to cosy all family members sitting on the board. Need someone independent to over see everything. That's my opinion
