The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
P.S. Delboi, we are awaiting a video, not a slide presentation. Buffy
But that's the presentation I saw in the Docklands in January. Buffy
Rathole, you are either a paid or unpaid basher, and/or just not too bright. The 1tcf didn't relate to an inconsequential thin zone with low permeability, as I'm fairly sure you know. Why do you bother writing rubbish? Have you nothing better to do with your day? When you are sitting amongst the stench of urine in an old people's home, run by people who are only doing the job for money, perhaps you'll realise. HTH. Buffy
I can still only see the Jan presentation. Where exactly is it please Delboi? Buffy
Hi tidd83, Paul Baay did say he expected a second campaign in the latter half of the year at the Shares Investment Magazine Presentation. Buffy
While thats all true Agadem (and the AGM last year was in the same place, and the number of Mirabaud staff equalled the number of PIs), I want to hear from the CEO, not from a secondhand source. If our CEO doesnt know now roughly when well commence drilling, if indeed we are going to, then why not? If he does, why not add a paragraph to update the long suffering shareholders? The reason is because like Kevin Hart, who was ousted from Bowleven, we are about as welcome as a piece of chewing gum on the sole of his carpet slippers. Buffy
Could be this month...
KoE, you are underselling EME! The big zones are yet to be tested at Dempsey. Duyung has flowed plenty of gas. Alvares, while bigger than Dempsey, is like a pimple on the Chinese elephants backside! Buffy
Failure after failure. Workovers failed, then delays for parts. One needs a rig so wont be touched until 103 is drilled, which as we know doesnt have a rig, and even if it did we wont drill until a licence extension is given, and even then we have no guarantee of our partner funding it. All good then...not. One cock up after another. Yes, once AAOG drills 103 all of this may seem insignificant, but experience tells me that failure follows failure. Therell be plenty of excuses to come. Buffy
https://investegate.co.uk/anglo-african-o--38-g--aaog-/rns/board-changes/201801230700055926C/ Nothing happening on the operational front? Lets spend some money on more senior staff. Wasters. Buffy
Hi tidd, Yes, meaning that effectively we pay interest on a loan that we cant use. No? Buffy
My understanding on Dempsey is that we cant go back to lower zones once we move up to a higher zone. This is a one time only chance to maximise the flow from this zone. Once we move up to the X zones we cant go back down to work on the permeability. We can comingle production from various zones though, so its worth taking our time. I understand why some get frustrated, but looking back youll not regret it Im sure. Dont forget, we are learning about the geology for the significant zones above, not to mention other areas. Buffy
Im fully expecting us not to have 100% of the Agadem assets by next Christmas. Whether we sell out or just farm out 30-40% I dont know. We will most certainly have one or more other assets in Nigeria. Buffy
Malcy was at the meeting, so perhaps we can expect an interview in the near future. I assume the investor conference call will be announced shortly. Buffy
Those strange numbers at the end was supposed to be a smiley icon! Buffy
Im assuming some dont realise that the Chinese assets are subject to a back in option giving them 51%. What Im not sure about is what they would have to pay for it. Is it 51% of what we paid for the licence, or some unspecified enhanced price based on the new asset value. I dont suppose Gaz has to pay us back 51% of what he was paid to help secure the assets. 🤔 Buffy
One thing that doesn’t need clarifying: “Following the issue of the First Tranche Placing Shares, the Company will have 302,083,447 Ordinary Shares in issue and there are no shares held in treasury.” Buffy
tidd, The placing RNS isn’t 500 pages. Perhaps you should read it. Buffy
That much is true ADUK. The LSE website shows the market cap and the live share price. Those two figures show that we don’t yet have 302m plus in shares that we would have with the first tranche, so it looks as though they have yet to be admitted. Not that I think that’s a problem though. Buffy
Hi Juste, hasn’t the placing been completed and the money committed, regardless of when it’s admitted for trading? Buffy
