It is similar to what Montgomery1 suggested below about YouTube, with Spotify they had the downloads but weren't able to convert in to revenue until now

I'm not a technical expert about RSS feeds etc but sounds like a huge 2026 coming ! Maybe we will see $100m revenue crossed after all:)

Also note the list Acast, Audioboom, Libsyn, Omny and Podigee - there could easily be some M&A activity between these players
