The big RNS news will be the mining licence has legally transfered. Listed under 2024 acheivements in the latest presentation "pending gov signature" is misleading. No signature, no transfer. Who holds all the power? The Mali Govt. And their royalties have already increased significantly. What demands could come next? Could Hainan be orchestrating an aggresive buyout in cahoots with the Mali govt? Who knows, but with the internal conflict over the $15m payment, and the longer this goes on, the more concerned I would be.

And GWMO drops a further 5%.

I wonder what would happen once BH gets the processing mill up and running, and selling gold?

The only benefit being that the price he will get now is significantly higher than he would have got last year, so a blessing in disguise. Is this delay planned to maximise value? The gold rise was heavily predicted for some time and Trump is only increasing the demand for gold as a safe haven. Now there’s a thought. Clever ol’ Brian, heh?!

@timeisyourfriend - incorrect, legally the company does NOT have a license. It is not in the possession of the appropriate company.

And if you want to see the effect that not having the license in your hands can have on a share price, take a look at Atlantic Lithium. Early 2023, I warned shareholders, and received lots of abuse for pointing out that even though, when the share price was over 30p, the license was “imminent”, “just a matter of time” and the government were apparently wholly behind the project, until the license was granted there was huge risk and the sp was overrated. Now under 10p. Your guess: do they have a license in their name? No, contrary to their announcement in Oct 2024 where they claimed it had been granted, it still hasn’t been ratified by the government, hence why the sp is still subdued. What will happen when legally it is 100% granted? A significant uplift, likely the same that will happen for Kodal. The question being: how much do you trust that government process will play out the way you hope it will, and at what cost?

@lukeytukki - if there wasn’t the chance that an RNS could land anytime, then that would be a very tempting strategy but retail investors luck that thru sell at a loss, open a leveraged short and then BOOM, it’s off to the races with a copper JV and selling gold! I’ll just sit on my loss, not take any further risk, and sit it out to see what happens. But good luck to you. Fortune favours the brave.

But to be fair, this really is getting very tiresome, and I suspect you are right - the longer there’s no revenue, the closer a placing gets.

My frustration is not just about the delays, it’s about the communication to shareholders. It’s not rocket science to explain that x procedure will take y time to complete. I know AIM is a cesspit, but there are some companies that at least try and do right by their retail investors. This doesn’t appear to be one of them. Prove me wrong, Mr Hall, and tell us what’s going on with the processing plant, and when the company will start generating revenue from it. You haven’t responded to my email, so maybe you will see this. Pigs might fly, but let’s see.

I was in Kodal, made good profit, but got out when the mining license transfer wasn’t completed in a timely manner - something didn’t smell right. And then there was the not insignificant issue of a fallout with their Chinese partner over a $15m payment, and what appears to be continual selling by a very large holder. What concerns me is who is buying those shares, and the potential for an aggressive takeover by their Chinese partner at significant discount to fair value.

Encouraging resource upgrade.

@lamp56 Ditto, luckily I did reduce my position by 50% on the way down so will also be looking to reinvest that once suspension is lifted, and to average down what is currently a massive % loss.

Anyone know/guess the likely timescale for the lifting of the suspension?

Unfortunately I too have significant medcial issues, so am keen on the swiftest of resolutions re arbitration, positive news on the Perdevlei mining license, and great Waversklop and Diamond results from KZG so that I am around to enjoy the rewards! To be honest, it’s very tiring, and sadly now predictable, that some posters immediately put either a “ramping” or “bashing” label on anyone with an opposing opinion. It’s a classic way to try and devalue someone else’s input.

If we all stuck to debating the actual issues, the board would be more informative, rather than a playground of petty skirmishes.

By the way, who started the recent thing of a “de-ramper”? The term is “basher”!

Apparently after 14 years of sharing my thoughts on LSE, I’ve now got a paymaster! Jeez, wish someone had told me as I’ve not received a penny! 🤷‍♂️

However much that I think EUA has every chance realising it’s full value at some point, currently that is dependent on a successful Trump / Putin negotiation. It’s good to see some positive reports, but to trust Trump is questionable and Putin seems to hold all the cards. Any sniff of discord, I think there may be some significant market jitters. So, for those looking to enter now, play this carefully folks, and don’t get over-excited or over-exposed. Nothing is a dead cert.

For the LTH’s since the highs of late 2020, I sincerely hope for you it does recover back to those levels.
