@rebel100 - are you sure? It seems as though Next ChemX are in the dirving seat now in resct to de;ivering the tech, testing brines, etc. I am watching the SEC Edgar site regularly to see if they provide any updates, as thery have done in the past.

Unfortunately the longer the wait for news, the more doubt starts building in my mind, but I have to reassure myself that the company has made excellent progress so far, and (if we take at face value what we are told) this is just the beginning of a (yes, I’m going to use the word!) transformational period for the company. So I’ll keep holding. Surely can’t be long to wait now, but wait we must.

Very funny ! An expected response. I’m very interested to know where the shares are going that Suay Chin are selling - that’s a lot of shares to be going into someone else’s hands, especially if that someone else is a co-patriot large share holder. Ooh, conspiracy theories abound! Good luck to you. Let’s see how this plays out.

And for transparency, I was heavily invested in Kodal, and rode it up from sub 0.2 and started selling in the 0.5, 0.4 range, selling the last tranche in the 0.3 range. I banked some good profit and reinvested that elsewhere which has already made 25+%, with potential for significant further gains (we will know within the next few weeks). I was interested in reinvesting in Kodal but the longer the mining licence and the unresolved (as far as we know) internal conflict about the $15m goes on, then the risk in my opinion increases. It’s no surprise to me that the share price is declining, especially as the much anticipated recovery in lithium/spodumene concentrate prices is more like a damp squid.

Label me as much as you like, big I am just an investor trying to make money, and after 30 years of actively trading, I’ve seen a few things come and go. Take the pi55 if you like, but open your mind and you may just have learn a few things . Maybe not, you could be an investing genius. Yeah, right ;-)

@asher7 - What the heck have you been smoking? This level of paranoia is diagnosable. All I’ve been doing is trying to add some insight based on actual published documents. Get some help, or I fear you will always be losing money.

@funkybeats - I get the frustration. Lots of frothy talk of progress here, progress there, but then no definitive news via RNS leaves questions unanswered. But, a few more weeks or months waiting is nothing compared to the years of holding, and at least I’m in profit now. Just willing the next RNS to hold some major news which will rerate the share price.

So a further notification will happen once Suay Chin have sold a further 1% of the company, equivalent to 202,500,000 shares.

The significance of the 3,000,0000 sale reported in January appears to be because they had already sold 199,500,000 shares.

As they still hold 2,226,107,425 Ordinary Shares, and if they have been selling in 3m tranches, then they’ve got to do another 742 trades of 3m to have exited, or 67 trades of 3m to trigger another report of a 1% change in voting rights.

and in the case of an issuer which is not incorporated in the United Kingdom a notification under (2) must be made on the basis of equivalent events and disclosed information.

This is setting up nicely for a potential, possibly aggressive, takeover.

And any company will always look to get the best price possible, using whatever means to achieve that.

Hainan is the majority stake holder. They are the ones in control. So I can’t see this going to a bidding war!

@laverda - you are desperate! Maybe if I said progress towards production, would that help clear it up for you ? And you accusing others of conspiracy theories. You couldn’t make it up. Bravo for at least making the effort to entertain us. At least one of us had the insight to bank profit. So many times on AIM the naive get caught holding for too long, and not being bright enough to read the room, or agile enough to actually act in a timely manner to maximise returns. Listen, I hope it works out for you, but don’t be so unhappy with your choices.

@laverda - you really can’t tolerate any opinion that doesn’t agree with yours, can you? And you seem to take it all to heart. Maybe try not to be so emotional about your investments, and a little more open-minded. You never know, it might help you make, or not lose, money (I suspect if you had already “made it” you wouldn’t be so frequently and defensively posting here). I applaud Kodal for the production progress to date (and I made decent money from that) , but I now wait to see whether it’s worth reinvesting for any forthcoming rerate. I have concerns as previously mentioned and unless it’s considerably cheaper ( ie further derisked) then I’ll sit it out for the time being. No big deal, just an opinion. No need to take it so personally.
