Been waiting to get in here for a bit; wanted to get in under 10p... they're still an IFG recommended buy up to 20p and they appear to have an excellent product, but with the price dipping a bit - it's gone to as low as 8 several times over the last six months for no apparent reason - maybe it's got further to go in the next few weeks? Comments, anyone?

Having said that, £2m of profit on their limited turnover isn't bad at all...

Hi there. Thanks for the info. One to keep an eye on for the future then, perhaps. Glad you liked my post about PMK. I'm very much an amateur at this game and am keen to learn from some of the (obviously) very knowledgeable people on here. I subscribe to IFG myself (Investing for Growth - very conservative investments for the long term) and PMK were a strong buy recommendation last year (at about 16p I think) but were subsequently changed to a sell post crash. However, the strong trading results make it a good potential (short term) at least for me - perhaps back up to 15/16p. I got in at 6.17... we'll see! Not sure what to think about RHPS - the free magazine I got gave me a few pointers - VIY for example were a RHPS tip and also an IFG tip - so at least if that goes t**s up I've got someone else to blame!!

These look like a solid company; half yearly report on the 3rd of June reasonably upbeat. Was thinking of getting in, esp since sp seems to have fallen off a cliff since the end of June. Tipped in rhps back in Jan '08 and stiil a buy in the April edition (I'm not a subscriber so don't have latest). Ta very muchly. Here's a couple for you: DEMG (great product, potential to crack the US market), NTBR (bucking the downturn - saw the housing market crash coming, just posted a great set of results considering the current climate and trading at 25% of price last year) and MOG (up your street by the sounds of your username, bit of a gamble obviously but cash in the bank and according to some enthusiasts if the Ombrina Mare development is as big as people are predicting then 700p would be possible - I got in at 34.9).

PMK - thought I recognised that. I subscribe to IFG (Investing for Growth) - and PMK was a long term portfolio recommendation for IFG back in June '08 - but they recommended a sell in the May newsletter this year (something to do with increased competition from the LSE in the form of the Baikal trading platform). They're not usually wrong! I don't have any stock so not an issue for me but thought you should know. I might take a punt on something that's not in IFG (I'm a bit less risk averse) but I DEFINITELY wouldn't buy on a sell recommendation from them. Anyway, thanks for the info!!

Is that a recurring theme you've noticed... a website revamp prior to positive RNS? I suppose if things are going badly you're unlikely to be splurging cash on the company website.

Anyone any idea why the large drop today - apart from the fact that oils are down generally?

Very pleased with the news today. In at almost the bottom here (10.3) more by luck than judgement it must be said. Came across the stock when I was looking for something a bit green; if they can crack the consumer market then can see this just going and going.
