Mmmm. Just been reading one of the PDF's on company website and it definitely says:
The proposed Mine Water Reclamation Project will be developed in two phases. The first phase will comprise
the collection of mine water from the Western, Central and Eastern Basins and the treatment/reclamation thereof at a centralised Water Treatment Plant which will be able to process approximately 75 mega litres (Mℓ) of mine affected water per day to POTABLE water.
75 Megalitres of water / day to potable water is a s**t load, so I think my brother in laws concerns still stand. It's not just the quality it's the volume too.
More digging required... anyway, signing off for tonight.
BTW does anybody have the Environmental Impact Assesment in a different format / pdf. Tried printing the link that hgac posted at 15:12 and couldn't get it to print properly in A4?
