i did wonder about a p&d, but not really much volume.i suspect it is more a function of the larger required lot sizes and the fact that mellon and cohorts own almost 60%. that is going to make the s/p more sensitive with reduced free float. at least that is my theory, but as we all know i'm no expert.

Realistic assessment silver blade. whilst i am hoping that a significant change in the macro (e.g. ukraine) may serve as a catalyst for an sp uplift,i am presently resigned to the likelihood of it being a considerable time before i regain my current average of about 100p. by way of the current trading environment there is an article in today's Times re breedon.i can't access it as not signed up,but it is summarised by measurenguy on ADVFN and looks interesting in terms of breedon's take on the current situation of competition in the uk.

The ads I've seen over the weekend (GB news) look quite snappy with the laser beams. impressed.

Interesting to see the wheels within wheels here, with mellon and seed participating. no mention of new agronomics though.

i do think this area has much greater potential than the meat/fish substitutes at the moment, so a good move.my wife will not buy products with "genuine" palm oil in them if she can avoid it, but im not sure how the alternative being produced by clean measures up on the health front, although i haven't looked into it in detail.

Fair point dosandonts, but i'm basing my view in part on barder's comments in the recent interview,where has talks about the royalty percentage and starts to suggest that it could have been higher with a different partner,but then stops himself and says that it is still a very good/perfectly acceptable percentage.sorry my take on what he said and certainly not verbatim.so i personally do doubt very much if it is at the level you suggest. perfectly happy to be proven wrong as it's just my opinion.just to restate, i'm not currently a holder, so just an interested bystander.

There was something a little strange about the china deal.there was a lot of conjecture at the time which i attributed to determined deramping, but it did fall through in the end . personally i don't think you can take the 50/50 split as anything other than sui generis for that particular deal. i think it is almost certain that royalty percentages for the recent deals are going to be in the 10 to 14% bracket,which would be normal and perfectly acceptable. fum is a very small player and is dependent on other to do the heavy lifting.

I think it iscertainly the case that any significant buying would result in a very marked jump in the s/p given the apparent sensitivity to quite small volume.let's hope it's positive news when it arrives.as to fum,yes no real reacrtion to the news at all . whilst i doubt the saudi market is anything of substance in the overall world context,it is yet another regulatory approval and these thing are not givens ,so it is another real achievement.seems like the jury continues to be out pending detail on sales and margins. hard to imagine however that with increasing world exposure the risk reward ratio is not moving back in favour of reward.im still on the sidelines but keeping an eye on things.the RNS is on the main london stock exchange site as i checked first thing this morning. incidentally eroxon was advertised on GB news here in the uk last night.first time I've seen it,but it may have been on for a while without me seeing it.
