yes i remember the days of bonum,but not fondly.he was not however the poster i had in mind on saturday who shall remain nameless.not long until interims let us hope for good news in the meantime i am exploring various nasal metamorphosing techniques so that i can chose a suitable proboscis depending on what the interims reveal!

does anyone think it would be acceptable to adopt the handle "Pinocchio" or would its nasal associations render it unacceptable? seriously i have to agree with curious investor.it is all very strange

if we have in mind the same poster(and we probably do)i remember his handle but am reluctant to write it out aloud as it were for fear (as in the good old horror movie cliche) of causing him to reappear.he had at one time a mate with the same agenda who may well have been an alter ego.if ever there was a case for banning he was it.in fairness i think he was banned once or twice but i cannot recall anything in poms posts on this board which would even remotely fall into the same category .he has been the proponent nonpareil of the stake building theory but he always made it clear it was just speculation based on share volume etc and it was hardly controversial to speculate on this

absolutely.yesterday down 3% on just over 1m shares traded.today up over 8% on 2.73m(as i type).neither volume is significant in financial terms which continues to demonstrate what might happen should we get real volume

yes i read big nose's last few words with a sense of trepidation but I'm not sure what information local hk investors would have which we do not.there is a dearth of information released by the company itself so local investors may well be just as much in the dark as ourselves.i realise that local brokers etc may have their finger much more on the pulse than we do here and we have frequently heard it said that the local community is not going to be interested until there is some form of revenue/dividends.i suspect we are a very long way from dividends but perhaps revenue of some sort may be on the cards .i recall that one poster whose name i cannot recall has mentioned on a number of occasions the views of his local hk broker and just wonder if there is any update on these?

exactly.the absence of a profit warning yesterday was perceived by most of here on this board as very positive(we cannot be certain of course but it looks that way) yet no reaction in hk other than the usual daily drift down.im hoping that the interims will contain actual figures which the local investors will not be able to ignore but we shall see

we really do seem to be under the local investors radar the value of the shares traded today (buys and sells) is i think approximately £133,000 based on closing price but the sp falls just over3% this gives an indication of how things might move if there is some hint of good news which is perceived by the local investors as such fingers crossed!

i think you are correct I'm not sure but thought we went from 23 to 20 posts so maybe more than one deleted

yes agreed that it seems a positive indication.i assume it is far too early for any other milestone payments to be receivable and presumably they would have to be announced in their own right,so let us hope (and in bignoses's case pray) that the seeming absence of a profit warning is down to some reasonable sales income .not going to get too excited just yet but remaining optimistic as to todays sp fall its disappointing as part of the continuing down trend but the volume of 6.65m shares is really very small this seems to be the problem with rpg in that there are numerically a huge number of shares but in issue but the sp moves comparatively markedly on quite small volume compared to the number of shares in issue. obviously I'm hoping that one day this will work in our favour as it did before when volumes have been significant will be interesting to se what happens tomorrow

if you google "Hong Kong substantial shareholder disclosure" and select the site "disclosure requirements-hong kong-clearstream" you will find the requirements and sanctions set out which are as i thought up to !00000 hkd and up to 2 years in prison .obviously i have no idea if such sanctions are ever imposed in practice .incidentallly i entirely agree that recordati are not in the running as a stake builder for the reasons given i think there is zero chance of them having done this but a chinese company is possible i suppose sorry cannot post a link to disclosure site as it skills not up to it

morning bignose thanks for the response more than happy to see what comments if any come from pom and prof in due course.i agree the lack of substantial shareholder notification is very puzzling in view of the volume of shares traded back in the day.i am beginning to think we will never know what happened and i am now resigned to seeing the sp driven by sales news which i hope is positive in due course although i think it may be early days yet for anything very significant.in this connection the statistics given by you re population etc a couple of days ago seems to encapsulate very well the ultimate potential even with a modest sales uptake

in the proactive investors interview last week the coo explained that the FDA apparently have a further 14 days after the initial 60 day period in which to communicate their decision so we should know (or at least the company should) by the 27th august or thereabouts hope this helps

interesting take on matters and you may well be largely right. as i posted a few days ago i don't see the initial acceptance of the nda as resulting in a significant sp increase (i suggested perhaps 10% which is simply conjecture on my part as it will be another small hurdle overcome on the way to full approval) but that any significant re rate will require full approval. that said i remain very positive as to this and have increased my holding today by 50%

yes agreed its a direct transfer the sp didn't move immediately following the transfer it was 3 mins or so before the bid fell so perhaps simply some pis being understandably spooked by the sale as it recovered virtually immediately i think i am correct in saying the ask didn't move at all

hello bignose im not quite following your post as i thought there were requirements on hk stock exchange to disclose substantial holdings (over 5%) and when i last checked some time ago i recollect that there were sanctions for failure of 100,000 dollars(not much of a deterrent!) but also possibly up to 2 years prison which is perhaps a little more compelling.i haven't checked again today so apologies if i am entirely wrong . if there are reporting requirements and sanctions for failure to comply then i would imagine this rules out recordati as a suspect as i think they would play by the rules.obviously persons or entities in jurisdictions where they may feel less vulnerable to possible sanctions (China?) may be less scrupulous

agreed small uncrossing trade at 32.8 feels quite positive in light of price movements throughout the day

bid went down to 31.8 very sharply but has largely recovered now my guess is amphion but its only a guess
