approximately £36/37,000 value of shares traded today down just over 3% regular pattern really for some time now with the occasional as yet unexplained jump on increased volume. Thoughts anyone?

encouraging early uptick

just going on looks alone(i have no technological expertise whatsoever) this looks a much sleeker user friendly set up than i have previously seen.are we starting to see the sort of developmental progress analogous to the improvements which took place in mobile phones, from "brick" to slick as it were?

thanks to those posting the link to richard windsors article and the subsequent rather more encouraging articles.it would be simplistic and a little blinkered to consider only those views which are 100%supportive of vr as the concerns expressed by richard windsor have been aired and explored here many times and one needs to have them in mind in order to try and form balanced view of the prospects here.however it is an opinion piece and as such it merely expresses his opinion.Personallly i do not in my opinion find the threads of his concerns particularly cogent.On the question of price this is an issue which is being and will continue to be addressed over time.stand alone devices are now available for less than the cost of many smartphones and while phones are used every day and throughout the day which is unlikely to be the case with vr i feel the key to general acceptance of headsets as an economically viable proposition lies in the quality of the content.Provided the content is of the right quality and appeal it will attract users who are prepared to pay for it and this is where melody has significant first user advantage.His concerns over comfort and security seem largely to be a subset of his second concern that devices are clunky.One only needs to recall the original mobile phones (mine was the size of a small brick with a thick plastic cover over the buttons and reminded me of a military walkie talkie) to realise how quickly and how far the technology progressed once the demand for phones developed and here again the questions of desirable content and evrs first mover advantage are key. produce the content and the technology will evolve to disseminate it in a more user friendly.i might have felt slightly ridiculous and self conscious walking around with a small brick stuck to my ear but i persevered because i attached more importance to the ability to communicate than i did to the slightly clunky nature of the technology then on offer.Ihope and expect the same pattern to develop here and as such i do not think we need to see the recent interest in mobile apps as simply a hedge against possible poor headset sales but rather as a very sensible and potentially extremely lucrative (see yesterdays posts regarding smartphone users) second or maybe even first string to melodys bow

yes approaching 4000 now not a lot in itself at moment but its the rate of increase and the potential which is extremely encouraging.as a tangential thought i hadn't really considered melody in the sphere of smartphone use regarding it primarily as designed ultimately for standalone devices but the more i think about smartphone potential the more attractive it seems. there are an awful lot of smartphones out there!

i find this very encouraging.what we seem to have is a gradual build up of marketing/publicity avenues the combined effect of which must surely lead to greater awareness of melody and its potential.

totally agree elkinator.we are imo on the point of seeing very significant developments re evrh and i fully expect the sp to be significantly higher by christmas .all in my opinion of course
