agreed unless we get some positive news the meantime which could happen anytime and is why i added this morning.not advice to buy as i have no more idea than anyone else what is going to happen but i remain confident in the fundamentals here

have just increased the amount i have invested here by 50%.there is imo a very compelling long term future here but of course dyor before investing

yes very annoying for you.always difficult to set stop losses for aim stocks imo because of their inherent volatility and the likely spread size.glad you chose to buy back in as i personally remain very confident here.i have no idea what the s p will be after the agm but clearly there is significant potential if we receive positive progress updates by or before then.i understand ricketts has indicted there will be updates of some sort at the agm (presumably in the Q&A forum) which presumably will have to be rns d beforehand if remotely price sensitive. hope you decision to buy back in proves well founded

no i cannot see anything new to prompt a fresh post but whilst i was checking on google to see if i could find anything i came across a demonstration/assessment video entitled 5 reasons not to buy the oculus go.in reality despite its off-putting title it seems to me (admittedly someone who has no technological understanding whatsoever) to be a very well balanced and unbiased assessment of certain aspects of the go which actually serves to demonstrate its attractions and is quite supportive of the product in relation to its particular target market and niche.i expect most of you have already seen it so apologies if this post is referencing the already well known but as a non techie i found it interesting informative and congenially presented .ithink it bodes well for the vr future

good morning all.thank you bignose for the update and in particular for drawing our attention to the shareholders communication policy i had not paid any attention to this before .i was aware of the proceedure for nominating a director etc and briefly toyed with the idea of putting myself forward but on reflection i decided that having to reveal to the interview panel that until 2008 i was the chief operations officer in charge of global risk control at lehman bros might impact negatively on my candidacy and so took matters no further.
0n a serious note the communication policy is of interest.whilst it probably wouldn't achieve anything i do wonder if there is any mileage in formulating a formal request for information and comment stated to be sent to the board in pursuance of and accordance with the shareholder communication policy.i realise it may not differ much from the requests for comment from gibson which other posters particularly bignose have made before and been good enough to share with us but it may have one significant difference.a formal request under the stated procedure would i imagine have to be considered and dealt with formally at board level.i would expect a formal response from the board.obviously i am not optimistic that we would be told anything revelatory or price sensitive but it would mean that our issues would i hope have to be discussed at board level in a way which perhaps they have not previously.also i assume that mellon as chairman of the board would have to be involved formally in a way which perhaps the occasional ad hoc enquires have not required.any formal request for comment could and should be stated to be sent on behalf and and at the request of shareholders holding x%of the shares etc i would personally favour addressing it to the company secretary for referring to the board.not sure there is any point sending anything until say the new year to give time hopefully for some news on hong kong/macau etc but it would obviously take some to agree the format and content in any event

appreciate this is probably a waste of time but in view of the increasing level of interest in taking some action(NB bothwell this morning) its just a suggestion for consideration

bignose i hope you enjoyed your GnT (or several of them)and the film and that my previous post does not cast a cloud over your morning i really don't want to be a doom monger and suspect i am just worrying necessarily but in view of my previous bad experience felt it incumbent on me to share my concerns.More than happy to hear views which would allay my fears

we certainly seem to be gathering pace here which in one way is very encouraging but which in another way causes me some concern.apologies if i am posting too much on the same topic and if i am sounding like a mellon minion(which i am most certainly not)but please bear in mind that there is one scenario which we would all want to avoid and that is of the directors for any reason seeking to delist and take the company private.i have no idea what barriers regulatory or procedural would exist in relation to this course but i suspect they would not be insurmountable for someone with mellons resources and connections.any decision to go private has to be in the best interests of the company/shareholders but in a scenario of diminishing s/p i imagine an argument could be constructed to the effect that the cost of maintaining a hk listing could not be justified if the company has to cope with the costs of extra meetings etc.i appreciate this may sound extreme and perhaps far fetched but there are personalities and egos involved here which may be unpredictable.i have been involved in a previous company set up by a serial entrepreneur(not mellon) where the poor sp performance and continual shareholder criticism eventually resulted in delisting with disastrous consequences for the PIs.i have been worried about this possible scenario for some time now even before the egm suggestion as the more the sp falls the more expensive it becomes to maintain a listing in proportion to the company value.i realise i may be overreacting to matters and suggesting a scenario which is never going to happen and i hope this is the case but i would suggest a word of caution before opening pandoras box
