yes agree with that.the fact that they can complete a placing in itself should give some degree of confidence regarding the overall situation so I'm looking forward to the announcement of it being completed rather than the precise details.

well i can understand that view Marineville but i think the dilemma they faced was that the informal announcements actually gave a figure of 8p and i think that left them with no choice,but agree it will be academic speculation in a couple of days time (i hope!)

absolutely rise hall spot on.i cannot understand who some posters cannot see why it was necessary for a formal RNS this morning.of course there is uncertainty and speculation pending the detail but the unofficial news at the start of the day had to be addressed imo

agreed thought it had great potential great concept but suspect it is too far ahead of the technical capabilities.just my opinion .not invested now but very surprised to see it at this level

well my guess would be thats/p has been lowered by MMs to create better liquidity.no idea if its significant or just MMs trying to create volume.

just to say i can sell reasonable amounts at well over bid(0.934p) on HL.havent sold any just checking as to liquidity

teknikal agree .i don't have problem with people posting contrary views but to take seeming pleasure or satisfaction in the fact that a lot of people have lost a great deal of money and interpret it as some sort of validation of ones own perceived superiority is truly despicable and beyond contempt.

bignose don't worry I'm certainly not getting carried away.no silos have yet been commissioned for the storing of the fountain proceeds.would now be quite content just to get to 60 cents.i suppose what i am getting at in an oblique way mirrors in a sense what you are saying.for me there is a significant disconnect between the tone of the results and the actual achievements and detail etc.why indeed?also i am interested in what the proposed changes to the articles are.probably just routine tidying up as they suggest but i shall take a close look when we hear just in case it gives any clue as to future direction.have to agree completely with your comments re JM.

now had a further more detailed read of the results and my view is very much as before .i think the language is extremely bullish in parts.not sure how often CEOs of publicly quoted companies refer to news as "fantastic" but not that often i imagine.also they do seem to suggest that they are more optimistic re sales than we have been giving them credit for .perhaps thats just my take on the language but it does seem to convey a sense of optimism.perhaps the aggregation of licence deals already achieved and the prospect of future ones really is beginning to build into something of real commercial value.that certainly seems to be Bunions view.the one thing that did seem a bit odd is re Venturex.i suppose we all feel that the holding is going to play a major role in some way in dealing with the tax liability but this seems to sit a little oddly with the statement that they see the potential for the companys investment in venturex to see further increases etc.at the end they repeat that they are committed to divesting non-core assets etc so no idea what they plan to do with it.personally I'm still expecting some sort of finance raise but in what form who knows.will be interesting to see if any significant market reaction on monday

yes langreen.highest close i think since 28th jan.that coupled with the relative resilience of todays s/p bodes well for next week.imo

if the buys v sells volume is anything like reported(of course it may not be)then the s/p has held up extremely well today which imo bodes well for next week

looks like the ability to sell in larger volume than earlier has returned.im not availing myself of it just pointing it out.
