as a former investor thinking of possibly buying back in after todays fall does anyone else feel that matchett's comments betray a lack of confidence in future prospects?.certainly doesn't seem anywhere near as bullish as before which i suppose is hardly surprising in view of the figures

bunion and bignose agree its getting pretty desperate.the s/p of venturex has been very volatile of late(don't know if its just related to price of copper etc) and its down 9% at moment and down quite a bit from recent levels so the tax financing will be interesting but probably not in a good way!i agree that voting against gibson's remuneration is appropriate in these conditions and will be contacting my platform provider tomorrow to see how i can do this.

interesting wackybaccy.i have not previously subscribed to the shutdown theory as it smacked to me of straw clutching.however the figures you have highlighted do seem to indicate that there may well be something in it.going to be an interesting few weeks now!

Itsadubthing thanks for posting that.sounds fairly positive for ebioss .assuming the proposals all go through it will be interesting see if they result in any additional opportunities for Eqtec.hopefully it will!

exactly applegarth.that was the thought behind my suggestion that it may be positive.just speculation of course but the more strings ebioss has to its bow the more potential scope for eqtec i hope.

yes looks a though they will be issuing shares to fund the acquisitions.cannot really say one way or another but it may be positive and seems to be being spun as a way to restore profitability.

agreed citytilidie.important not to read too much into it but personally i was expecting pretty much a complete news blackout pending minutes so quite encouraged by the recent announcements

I've no idea what the significance of the agreement will prove to be in the long run but for me its main significance now is that at a time when you would have expected motif to be devoting all its resources and efforts into the FDA meeting and possible subsequent steps it has found time to conclude the agreement.no idea how much effort it has taken but for me its a fairly strong indication of confidence in the overall situation. very good news imo
