Yes it is very odd.bearing in mind the net proceeds of escode, after expenses, are going to be approximately £252m, the market is valuing the cyber security business at approx £90m, which does seem crazy. perhaps there are things we are overlooking.

Well we should get full year results in next fortnight,so there will have to be some form of update, but seriously how difficult is it to keep the market properly informed. in a previous incarnation, when i was gainfully employed, i was required to provide clients with timescale estimated and to update them if matters fell behind etc.it was a bit of a pain,butit was seen as implementing fairly high professional standards. i appreciate that running a public company is not the same sort of thing, but so often the ethical standards followed are sadly well below what one could reasonably expect. (apologies for the slight pomposity of this post)

Morning bothwell.our posts crossed. i agree that the initial payment due on chinese approval will keep us going for a short while, but then it is all going to be down to sales. im assuming nil revenue from DLI (or at least negligible)for quite some time. bignose's point about manufacturing capacity is very pertinent.it is no good having a target market of 50m potential users if you can only manufacture 30000 cans every few months. i'm hoping this is an aspect which has been addressed, but prior to approval who would want to commit time and resources to a manufacturing process when approval is by no means certain.

i dont want to be overly pessimistic, but there are a lot of uncertainties here i'm afraid.

Morning bignose. can't disagree with any of that. i said a while ago i wasn't concerned about a modest delay re china, but that if it ran past mid feb i would start to become concerned, well here we re almost at mid march so now quite concerned. no idea what will happen if we don't get china.i still think we will, but of course i'm going to think that aren't i. oh well,can't do anything but wait as always.

I wasn't really reporting on the ftse250 position from the perspective of it being a benefit to thg, as pretty clearly it has had minimum impact historically, but rather from the converse perspective that exclusion would have impacted negatively. there were some post speculating that we were at risk of exclusion and i'm sure some posters would have take the opportunity to comment negatively if exclusion took place and i simply wanted to pre-empt such speculation. that's all.

CVS has been promoted into ftse 250 and NCC group has (narrowly) retained its 250 inclusion. so good news overall.

Morning bignose. too true in afraid i would genuinely be intrigued to have access to the

precise history of how the application has been progressed.whilst i wouldn't understand the more technical issues, the way in which the board responds to events and the decisions as to how to communicate to the market would make interesting reading.oh well it is what it is.

on the dli front your observation was interesting.i expect all the licences will come in the last week in december! actually there was a tweet a few says ago saying one of their sales guys was attending a tech conference in the us a few days ago, so at least some activity.
