interesting activity on the brady (bry) board.the recommended offer of10p per share has today been increased to 18p apparently as a result of some sort of bidding war.not suggesting it has any parallels here but what is surprising is the discrepancy between the figure the board was prepared to recommend and the revised offer now to hand.literally 80% higher.thats a lot!

agreed.hence the reference in the results RNS to guidance provided by major shereholders.the percentage of shares in non retail PIs hands is one of the reasons for investing here imo

well it doesn't look as though anyone is going to come up with a positive response to Profz question.we are awaiting news on several fronts but the problem is we seem to go on waiting and no one has any confidence that news if and when it comes will have any positive effect on the s/p.(c/f response to previous china news).hope I'm wrong and i do think that if we can get FDA approval (not guaranteed by any means and will take time and money) we should expect some positive effect, but can the company get there and what further dilution will be required?personally i will be sticking it out but i hope the update referred to as being promised by gibson in a recent post does materialise and that it is not just a rehash of the previous empty promises and face saving tosh.

well the last statement at end of october refers to a short list of those potential buyers.i think that has to mean at least two and could indicate one or two more.the fact that there is still serious interest after 3 months would suggest there is a good prospect of a serious bid emerging at the end of the process ,whenever that is.

i agree latino that the identity of the independent director will be very interesting.if he/she is connected to hercules then that would be significant.

purely out of interest and not because i think it has any indicative significance here ,i note that ameriseurs FSP which started on 19th july (10 days before ours)completed with a recommended offer yesterday.still think we have a while to go yet.
