agreed TopGun.he was never going exercise for the whole amount at the current s/p.it just wasn't going to happen.i felt an extension was quite possible but the fact that he has taken up part (admittedly a small part) at this point is very positive imo.

yes but the exercise period for the balance has been extended to end of 2021 ,which i suggested was quite possible and which to me indicates a continuing confidence.imo

personally i cannot see any need to update the market on the non exercise of the option.the terms of the RNS are as you say crystal clear.nothing further needs to be said.im hoping the next major news will be some form of significant US development,but just speculation of course.

agree with that mel5 and keith, particularly point about parallel agreement with US firm. that fits the apparent symmetry of developments.just speculation of course but feels persuasive imo.

morning/afternoon all.at the end of trading for 2019 I'm afraid i cannot think of anything useful to say(some of you may think that has always been the case) so i will just wish you all the very best for 2020!

cunir personally i doubt that gores non exercise of the options has any significant immediate effect for melody.imo expectations that he would exercise were always wildly optimistic.he was only ever going to exercise if the s/p got to the appropriate level which would have required an increase of some thing in the region of 200%.not completely impossible but it would have required imo at least 3 and possibly more pieces of extremely positive news and it has been pretty clear for the last 3 weeks or so that that was not going to happen.melody are no worse off because he hasn't exercised although of course they would have been much better off if he had and that's the point really imo.its not a case of negative news its just disappointed (and unrealistic imo) expectations.i confess i have always found the terms of the option puzzling in that the s/p increases in such a short time seemed simply too demanding.still possible the term for exercise to be extended although I'm no longer really expecting that.im not suggesting gore doesn't have a serious interest here as his buying already makes it clear that he must have something of that nature, but what his further intentions if any are we really have no idea and there is a great danger in overly optimistic speculation which inevitably leads to disappointment.personally i think we need to allow time for the developments with o2 etc to start to bear fruit and from this perspective i think 2020 is going to be a very interesting and hopefully lucrative time for holders here.

yes its very frustrating stew200.over £130k of indicative buys(and they look like buys) in less than a minute but s/p drops.personally not worried as all fundamentals remain and indeed look even better imo than a while ago.i view the proposed capital reorganisation as a very good sign indicating an intention to carry on as normal with an eye to the future.i do not think it indicates a belief that a formal offer will not be forthcoming, but rather a sensible desire to project the most attractive profile for the company for next year and it is,of course,a very positive development in itself.

afternoon bigose.could be any of those and a further possibility is the results of the RX to OTC application,although i doubt its that as its very hard to imagine the initial phase concluding with anything other than a request for further information imo.Who knows ,but as always interesting to see how the movements can happen on such low volume (less than £40k i think).let us hope it is something positive.
