perfectly true that when asked if this was something which artists were doing now he did not attempt to overstate the case but made it clear that whilst this was not something which had developed yet to any great extent it was he felt the way forward.really there was nothing else he could say at this point as this is obviously an approach which is only now just being considered or put forward as a benefit of VR.its the earliest of early days and he chose not to exaggerate.i do agree that its a pretty peripheral matter at this point where we need positive news on a number of other fronts but to my mind it was a small positive in that it was melody which was stating the case for the benefits of VR in this environmental topic and had (presumably) taken the initiative for a bit of self promotion.

had a chance to listen now.good to see matchett getting in on the latest hot(ish) topic of tourings environmental footprint.well worth a listen although obviously just promotional generalities.it does however highlight the scope for melody to use this angle to promote their involvement with environmentally conscious artists , on an issue which i imagine is going to take on a growing importance given the prominence being given to environmental issues generally.

private ryan i don't think there is any doubt about the delisting.the reference to uncertainties etc is just repeating the background and reasons for the delisting.sorry but its a done deal as it were.probably a good thing now as the listing was just going to be an expensive distraction with no realisable value in practice.now its all down to what the assets can realise and who is appointed as independent director and what target company if any is found for the cash shell,assuming we get to that point.aimo. i agree with your point about those stuck with ASRs.i imagine this is so much of a manning the lifeboat type of exercise that their plight is very much a minor consideration,although perhaps some guidancee will be given in next few days.

morning bignose.very probably imo.i certainly get the impression(obviously its only that )that abony and the other chap,costanzo (?) are not the sort to be pushed around.they both seem very active in the medical cbd field (it could all go wrong of course but at moment it seems to be flavour of the month at least in terms of mergers and takeover activity).it isn't so much that yooya may have been a missed opportunity as we have no way of knowing but rather that as you say the announcement and subsequent fiasco made us look really stupid and will certainly not give investors much confidence.really do hope we get some more positive news but not holding my breath.

Keithbfk and Bignose reluctantly have to agree.we may get some left field announcement which puts a different perspective on this but i don't really expect it.pretty much given up hope of recovering losses here and agree that mellon has little interest here now.his focus seems to be on juvenescence and perhaps still to come extent CBD.it is very galling to read about the apparently positive developments reading abony and the emmac developments of which ,if things had gone well,i think we could have been a part or at least involved in that area.it would be very interesting to know what went wrong over Yooya,although it would not help us here of course.

s/p was 41.5p. on the last trading day before the announcement.personally in the absence of any significant TR1s regarding changes to opening positions i remain of the view that share price drift down is due to disappointed expectations regarding the FSP time scale rather than a general market conclusion that there is not going to be a sale.just my opinion of course.

thats pretty much how i see it bunco.gradual pullback in the absence of news is not surprising as there were clearly expectations at the beginning of the FSP that it would be completed fairly quickly which were,imo,unrealistic.i would expect we are moving into the final stages but it could still be a couple of months imo.i take heart from the continuing absence of any significant TR1s and i do not think the volume of the last few days indicates that any can be expected.just my opinion of course.

not seeking to offer advice but i personally don't think the corner is that far off.there is no standard period for FSPs to take and several months is not unusual.imo the longer the better (up to a point) but i would be surprised if we did not have at least some news by the end of january which is not that far off really.the process started on the 29th july so that gives it 6 months.no point trying to predict the outcome but personally i would give great weight to the fact that there have been no significant changes to the opening position declarations to date
