thanks for the clarification Odysseus.i now understand the point you are making. the phase 2 results do actually refer to effectiveness in relation mild and mild to moderate sufferers, but i accept the point that there appears to be an inconsistency between the phase 2 and phase 3 effects of what is now med 3000.iam not sure if this will make it more likely that the EMA will want additional trials but as I've always accepted that that was possible, even likely, it does not fundamentally alter my personal appraisal of the risks.that said it is a completely valid point and it will be interesting to see if any clarification can be obtained, although i suspect the chances of this are at best minuscule. as one of the other posters alludes to ,we never get access to the full data package so always very hard ,if not impossible, to evaluate. as always risk versus reward
