apologies if my previous post seemed obscure but this is what prompted it. ithttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S156816371830240X . this is the best article i have found about this area of research.first apologies for my obvious facetiousness about deep data diving. a psychologist would no doubt interpret it as a defence mechanism established by someone who is frightened by what they do not understand,probably correctly. putting that aside i have found this article of considerable value in trying to understand what DL and others in this sphere are trying to do.i have absolutely no background in science .biology or chemistry (o levels don't count) and even less in computing, so 99% of it is beyond me, but the introduction section has given me a feel for what it's all about.probably a very poor feel but better than nothing. .also the end part of the introduction suggests some areas where the research may have a practial/commercial application ,eg. in enabling drug developers to assess the prospect of success in relation to trial outcomes etc. and this is what has struck me. is this perhaps the equivalent of selling shovels or jeans in the goldrush? DL is not itself trying to develop a drug or medicine which will either succeed or fail, but rather a tool to enable those seeking to develop a drug treatment or medicine better to assess its prospects. now i note the reference to the possibility that these tools may become subject to their own regulatory assessment regime and possible assessment as medical devices ,but this seems to be a step in the future and perhaps the gold standard to be aimed for. in the meantime if it proves to be a reliable resource which pharmas my want to help them in development programmes, then it may have considerable value. apologies for rambling and i am probably very wide of the mark, but interesting food for thought imo.

well hope you are right about holding.wouldnt argue with any of that. puppets yes and that may be why abony and others didn't come on board.suspect cut from a different jib,hence fall out.emmac and cbd seems to be going well without us,although i haven't been following in detail. llet us hope we are turning a corner. i have found some quite interesting stuff (although to me largely impenetrable) about aging clocks deep data etc.still reading it but will post a link in due course.

incestuous indeed bignose. the 2nd sept announcement sets out the interconnected holdings of mellon,galloway,and juvenescence in insilco and you can see the degree of connectivity, at least in outline. all highly orchestrated and i suppose that should ensure it goes through (it really would be a disaster if they mess this up imo,and despite the massive dilution).all we can do is hope,as you suggest,that it does produce a positive effect and is not just part of another vanity project.i do find it interesting that they have decided, in effect,t to move DL into a main market listing.and of course the existing investors in DL are in effect retaining their interests in it through regent shares..whether they hold them after the lock up periods end is the big question(well one of them anyway)

didn't realise it was founded in hong kong in 2019. apologies if this is already well known.whether being a hong kong based company is a factor here i don't know,but possibly so .maybe it is known to the local investment community.

well bignose of course it all stinks to use your phrase,and wheels within wheels to use mine.its the risk we take with aim and aim type shares I'm afraid and although one might have hoped for something a little different following move to main market, leopard and spots spring to mind.the move to the main market was highly engineered in itself and what has been lacking (apologies for stating the obvious) is a well run business with a highly desirable product.that may be about to change (well the product bit anyway) at least that is what we are all hoping no doubt. if my researches reveal anything interesting (probably not as in depth research ,or as i now like to refer to it,deep data diving,is not really my forte, at least not anymore) it will be shared (don't hold your breath though lol)

intersting idea MrH m.i was thinking that although it is a large amount of debt relative to melody's size (particularly pre TO) its actually not that much in absolute terms.i assume it is spread over at least a few creditors so it's probably not a case of it all being owed to one or two. when i was in business we always felt it was important not to let debt concentrate too much into the hands of any one single creditor, as would give them to much control.just musing of course as no idea of actual situation, but at the moment I'm less concerned with debt than with the revenue synergies which i hope are in prospect.

agreed Djp57.the listing document is not something they can be vague about so should know a lot more when it is published.numerous parties have responsibility for its content so accuracy is essential.agree also re schroders

all perfectly tenable bignose.hope the rise holds of course but i think it my depend on whether we get some more positive news soon to support it.ive lost track of what might be next in the pipeline but as DL was very much left field perhaps not too much point in speculating. will try and do some reading about the longevity aspect over the weekend, as i suspect we are going to hear more about this over time.

morning bignose.i was following the aastocks for the last couple of trading hours and at times it was quite erratic.going backwards at times and at times not showing any volume.i put it down to my computer ,but i can see the discrepancy you refer to.no idea as to reason though.well you all know where to go to for investment advice now don't you after my call yesterday that the RX to oct.news wouldnt make much difference.!lol. actually I'm still not sure that's the main reason for todays rise.when i heard that we had a positive CHMP opinion i spent quite some time trying to find articles,statistics etc,to indicate likelihood of formal EMA approval after a positive opinion.i couldn't find any statistics(no doubt they exist somewhere) but all the guidance i read seemed to suggest the EMA approval was pretty much automatic after a positive opinion,or at least that was my take.so i remain surprised that we have experienced a rise of the kind you would expect from say a NDA formal approval, based on a virtual foregone conclusion. my take is that the rise is based very much on the DL news but just an opinion. you raise very pertinent questions about the value of this etc,so looking forward to any information anyone can provide here.

shown as 3.62% at 20th april on website.so not sure if they or i have missed an announcement but anyway looks positive. going up on todays RNS
