its actually quite odd that it wasn't referenced in MVR's RNS. i seem to recall a statement by AM that the debt was "manageable" being quoted on here,buthaven't had a chance to check for it so just going on memory and happy to b corrected if wrong.

not sure it will have much effect tbh as its was absolutely certain realy once they had the CHMP positive opinion, but its good to have the formal confirmation and earlier than expected, it may catch market attention, so perhaps some modest benefit (could always be wrong of course), interesting that you have been thinking along the lines of is fortacin going to be sold off. jamie's somewhat boastful mission statement would certainly seem to suggest a change of emphasis. when we had the yooya announcement i was very much of the opinion that that heralded a change of direction,but not not so sure now. .we do have the RX to OTC now so who knows what effect that may have and all the other matters (NDA etc) are that much closer, so unless they got a wonderful price i can't see them offloading at this point,but who knows.intersting to see the DL RNS posted on FFWD board this morning.the CBD ship was well underway when Yooya came up, but no idea about HMS longevity. hopefully we may find that its better to get on board at the start of the voyage rather than half way through.just musing of course.probably nonsense.

seems to me that DBay have a pretty vice like grip on the s/p/pure speculation but we have a reasonable buy this morning followed by a counterbalancing sale.i imagine they can control the s.p (within limits of course) with judicious buy and sells.if they get to 20%,which is not that far away,then hostile looks pretty certain.as to a figure anyones guess, but current indications suggest mid 50ps to me.hope its more but not confident.

on a serious note i just hope this goes through,not from the point of view of merit or otherwise asi have no firm view on that,but because i don't think we could stand another yooya fiasco.

yes interesting thought.was in my mind a bit when i said he would have a slightly bigger shareholding than jamie.i would hope at least that having other shareholders will engender some scrutiny of performance. no suggestion so far that he will become a director as there was with abony and yooya, but could still happen.

intersting to look at the shareholdings if this goes through.mellon and gibson down a bit.Alexandrs Zavoronkovs moves into second place ahead of jamies ,although Insiico has two holding in different incarnations which would put them second if combined.question is is this going to prove a distraction from progressing fortacin? is it going to be the direction regent moves to and the catalyst to help save a moribund enterprise? interesting to see tomorrows market reaction.

hard to imagine the participants in the series A financing weren't full yaware of what was proposed ,particularly since the non binding terms were agreed on the 29th may.clever really .the shareholders in DL get in effect a cost free access to hong kong market and as a bonus will benefit from the increased value of RPs shares since it was agreed.

well fair question bignose. some interesting points are starting to emerge now i have had a chance to start looking at the announcement properly.i note that we are acquiring the shares at the same value as the series A sellers paid in the series A financing. so i suspect this has been planned for a little while.ie exit it out of current vehicle finance it and then move it into regent.just speculating.as the deep longevity shareholders will be getting shares in regent pro rata to their DL holdings i suppose we could just as easily ask why would they want shares in regent? wheels within wheels obviously and i may have missed the point,but as usual mellon is involved in several aspects of it.really don't know what to think yet.
