agree bignose.i took all the initial investment out after the first big rise,so fairly relaxed now,which makes a nice change.

agree with that bignose.first deal terms will be critical and then the big question. do you sell or wait for sales? perhaps a split approach?well have to see.

agree bignose thatif regent want/need to offload then they will probably be looking at iis.certainly looks like copper may be one to hang on to though( i recall your article a little while ago),lets hope it gives regent a few options that weren't obviously there a while ago.

thanks for that bignose.yesgood news on FUM.the s/p was weak yesterday so i bought a few more just luck.sold them and a few more first thing this morning on the news as i think s/p will fall back a bit now until deals are done the CEmark news was completely baked in and its the next steps now which matter.and we all know that approval is only the start of the story! thanks for your good wishes.

not sure i made my point quite clear bignose.i certainly think regents s/p should have reflected the increased value of the vrx holding, just not necessarily on an arithmetical basis. you have to allow for difficulties in disposing of a large holding, so the increase would probably need to be discounted in some way. anyway i know nothing really about miners and avoid them personally still very hard to see why the news has had pretty much zero effect on regent.,but as you say onwards and upwards!

traveller i actually agree that trying to trade their way out isnt working. it may well do eventually (if the covid impact lessens) but for the time being i see it as as a T/O play for a modest premium if that is dbay's game. interesting to see if we get a TR1 after yesterday's big trade, although if it was dbay increasing ,that trade alone wouldn't have pushed them into the next bracket.

morning bignose,agree particularly with your point about traders not being aware of what we have.otherwise pretty near impossible to explain why no s/p increase re venturex. of course just because our holding goes up significantly it shouldn't have a strictly arithmetical corresponding effect on the s/p (how do you sell such a large holding etc? )but it should surely have produced some reaction.instead s/p falls overall and back to (mostly )pitiful volumes. im not complaining as the Venturex news is very positive (could give us some cash perhaps for US trial), but just puzzled by zero reaction .anyway,perhaps the may update will give us some traction.

just musing on the 600.000 trade.it was an XOFF trade as per the stock exchange website (LSE's description as ordinary is a bit misleading). ie an off market trade probably between two parties, so a buy and a sell. now i suppose there are a number of possible candidtes as seller, but not that many likely ones for buyer( could be anybody of course,but realistically it's likely to be Dbay or lombard).lombard have 29.11 %, so it could be them as 600000 is just under 0.63%. however, if you had to bet i think you would have to go with Dbay. if that is correct does it make a T/O more likely?who knows. a T/O has been a common trope on here for a long time without anything happening.just musing of course.

indeed mavern.closing bid and ask yesterday were 73p and 77p respectively.some pretty large trades today, but always difficult to assess significance. overall agree its looking g pretty positive.

thanks for that YHAL. i remain invested (i took some profits back at about 48p i think it was).im staying in the hope of a T/O, although if we get one in not expecting it to be at a great premium.indeed when there was a lot of talk about multiples of earnings and e.g. a minimum of 75p etc, i was pretty sceptical. i was hoping perhaps for 60/65p but think will have to settle for quite a bit less if we get a bid soon. of course we may not get a bid at all,so i may have to be patient.

afternoon heimdal.good news re VXR. you would certainly think it should give regent's s/p a bit of boost.yes good to see regent referenced in the eureka article,although they do this as a matter of course whenever DLI are mentioned.still at least it keeps the name out there.

slight improvement in EBITDA as well,but agree will probably drop back a bit and then recover.T/O play now i think.

same problem, so the absence of both is ,imo,completely neutral. not so the (so far) absence of sales by the non insider major holders (e.g. invesco, gore and a couple of others.
