bluenumbers the management hs more than likely to be unable to buy at the moment by reason of market abuse regulations preventing trading on the basis of non public market sensitive information. hopefully they are currently aware of a great deal of such information (i hope!)

hello albert. interesting points and yes if N&G kept all their potential shares they would be the biggest holder by some way. big "if" though. someone appears to be selling down (the trades seem to make this very clear, but just speculation of course) and as yet we have had no TR1s from the pre- existing large holders. we know that there are three tranches of CLNs to go (the april one may already have been issued but not yet converted) so it will be interesting to see if we get a holding TR1 from N&G by say the last two weeks in may. personally i doubt i t,despite the fine words in the announcements.i have no factual basis for the doubt, so again it is just speculation, but i do have a negative feeling about their whole involvement (my view has changed considerably from that at the time eof th initial announcement, where i realise i misjudged teh situation). i could be completely wrong of course and it could be that this is part of some devilish cunning plan, but at the moment I'm hoping that N&g will serve their short term purpose and then depart (I'm putting this politely). incidentally I'm not necessarily of the matchett must go school of thought. i think we have insufficient knowledge of the full facts to be absolutely certain about that (also who would replace him?) i can feel the understandable howls of protest building up so better leave it at that. gla

well it looks like we slipped the cuffs off for a short while and then someone clamped them on again, although not quite as tightly as before.

well lofas agree it was matchett who got us into this appalling arrangement, but now we're in it it's N and g who seem to be calling the shots, at least for a while.not blaming them ,they have cut a great deal.it is so astonishingly weighted in their favour that it almost beggars belief.really can't understand how it has happened (I've listened to the arguments justifying it, but sadly remain entirely unconvinced).fortuantely we will be out of this in the sense that there will be 2/3 more conversions and then we will see if N and G retain any sort of holding. the only saving grace is that the amount, whilst badly damaging, is not so horrendous as to bring us to our knees (have a look at HEMO for the havoc the CLNs are wreaking there) and we will, imo, get through this. personally I'm determinedly forward looking and probably not feeling as negative as most.

also worth pointing out that we have had no TR!s for any major holder reduction.indeed invesco have increased. this is all being dictated by nice and green at the moment. need to get their involvement and influence defined and if possible constrained.

morning all.odd today.spent most of day just slightly down or flat and then series of mostly tiny trades in last few minutes and we are down almost 10% despite what does seem to be very good news re VXR.

rest assured dead cross, it is obviously not pointless and is a good deal more relevant than 90% of the posts on here ,including those predicting, inaccurately, s/ps by certain times today etc.
