interesting themis.i am aware of the problems these have been causing hemo,but although ours have clearly produced a negative effect s/p wise, the situations are very different.hemo has a m/c of £11m and as part of the cancellation process they have had to arrange a sale £6.5 cans to a third party, who will convert at1.5p as opposed to current s/p of about 1.95p.its not gone down well s/p wise for hemo today.nonetheless its a fair point,although i doubt naps will avail themselves of the redemption option .the accelerated take up strongly suggests otherwise.

afternoon perrins. the s/p fell suddenly because of the placing announced at market close on friday. see Friday's RNS. fum are raising £12m at 40p.there are differing views naturally as to whether this is a good thing or not, but i expect you are not interested in posters' views which have little or no validity being merely opinions. you will see the reasons for the placing in the RNS,the principal one(or one of them)is to fund the FDAs trial as a de novo medical device, but the raise will have produced far more than is expected for that purpose alone.no one can say when the product will be available commercially.it has recently received the eu CE mark, so can be marketed in terms of authorisation immediately (there will probably be individual requirements on a country by country basis but essentially the ce mark gives the go ahead subject to any local requirements.)what we do not know is how soon and indeed whether fum will secure an appropriate licensing partner to assist with marketing ,distribution and manufacture.againn a multiplicity of views have been expressed, but no one knows what will actually happen. it appears the primary bid aspect of the raise was oversubscribed (perhaps significantly so as it closed very early,but again no details yet).no doubt we will hear more on Monday. to get the full picture you need to read all the RNSs going back to December 2019 when fum commenced the new strategy of seeking approval for med3000 as a medical device.(and indeed you should probably look at some of the earlier ones as well for background).more than happy for anyone to add to or correct anything i have said

as time is marching on, i have been looking at the timescales for the current situation. Dbay have until 16th june to announce either a firm intention to make an offer or that they do not intend to make an offer. if by that time that have not said anything but are still in discussions with telit, then tellt have to announce that dbay must make an announcement by the 14th july. telit can terminate discussions at any time up to the 16th june. i hope this is an accurate statement of the position and if so we are moving into the endgame of this particular scenario.,although a few weeks of uncertainty may still remain.

evening dactions. on a serious note it will be interesting to see if there is any significant take up by recognised IIs. bearing in mind the relatively modest size of the raise I'm not personally expecting any sizeable holdings to be reported, but as always i may be wrong. agree it would be encouraging to see LO increase, but if they not it won't necessarily be a negative sign. they have their 40p options and there may well be internal regulatory rules as to how much they can have in any one share and at what percentage.next week will certainly be interesting though.

yes 81lucky.polx is another example of a cash call being well received.a very different company of course,but they are awaiting FDA approval of their xenon gas imaging product as a drug device,expected i early october. they raised recently at 60p (the bid was i think 65p at the time).the s/p never fell below 63p after the raise and is now 94p.interestingly the offer included a priority offer to existing holders.it had the usual provisions as to scale back and i applied for quite a few share in it,expecting only to get a part of my application.in fact it was filled in full,so not presumably oversubscribed. here i would expect significant scale back, indicated by the very early closure of the primary bid..now I'm not suggesting fum will follow this pattern, as no one, myself or the other posters, has the benefit of vaticination, but it simply shows that we can all produce examples to support our arguments, but only time will tell who is correct.

was pleased to see the primary bid offer close really quite early. ive observed a large number of these in relation to shares I've been invested in (never participated as normally,but not always, you can buy in the market with immediate delivery).i have found them to be a very good indicator of market sentiment. iis and similar will buy in for a wide variety of reasons, not all of them necessarily related to their view of a company's prospects and such buys are often an unreliable indicator of future s/p growth.retail investors, on the other hand ,are motivated solely by their views on prospects and are often a better short term indicator.

ssi1975 the first RNS actually says they expect theUS trial to cost in the region of £3m, so as you say should be plenty left over to strengthen overall position.
