i agree that it is very good news. i am slightly puzzled as to why the consideration is in part in shares, bearing in mind how much cash panic has. i suppose one explanation is that the vendor in effect wanted to retain an indirect interest in the gelter shares through the anic holding. as to mellon's possible involvement,as the vendor is receiving anic shares, it would have to be declared if he were involved as his holding as a director would change (even if they came from a company which he controlled). my view, therefore, is that he is not involved as vendor.

morning bignose.yes it certainly made me wonder whether there was something in the offing when they announced ,in effect, the intention to sell. although the initial consideration is set at $A 30m, the milestone payments etc make it potentially a very big deal,so it could have a significant impact on DVPs s/p, although my guess is that the short term reaction will actually be modest either way,whilst the market sees how it starts to play out.anyway,as you say it is something of interest whilst we wait for the (hopefully) bigger picture to unfold.

i see the new shares are being issued at $A 3.30.a small premium.overall i don't think this is of any real significance for ERP,given our fairly clear intention to divest,except the it suggests the s/p of DVP may hit the target figure fairly soon.

dvp are proposing to acquire a development called woodlawn.it looks like a substantial acquisition and they are doing a placing to part finance https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/DVP/02487954.pdf as well as this presentation i have had the formal stock exchange announcement which would be more helpful,but unfortunately it won't open in my browser.i assume we won't take part in the placement so will be slightly diluted.if i can find a better link later i will post it.perhaps it will be referenced by ERP later.

based on nothing more than gut feeling,my personal view is no dividend likely for some time.i would expect them to want to wait and see how the johnston acquisition beds in and what feeds through to the bottom line over a period. just my opinion and could easily be wrong.

so presumably nothing in the pipeline, at least as at 31st dec, to warrant any fair value revision for fortacin.
