In order to avoid false information, lets be accurate here. the article says the following, no guaranteed meeting (yet), Goodwill said a meeting with PM may be useful.

He also said he had already made the case for the Government to assist Sirius but this had been "declined". However, he added that a new meeting with the PM (that called for by Cllr Siddons) could be "useful".

It can't !!! It's impossible to maintain 4p. Yet another misinformed post. If dilution happens the share price will go below 4p, the question is then how far will it go up which will be based on the market sentiment on the share, the perceived risks, and the potential success of the project.

All investment is gambling. That’s why they point out investments can go up and down.

Invest in what you believe are safe bets and you reduce your perceived exposure, but there is still a % risk. Diversifying your portfolio has the same effect, but again there is risk so it’s still a gamble by definition as share prices or ANY share or find can go up and down.

Let me know at what point this share was never a gamble.

People do realise that the 7,42% short position consists of 99.9% institutional investors. NOT the small number of people who have decided to take a short position and declare it on this board? Right?

Again, people get emotionally attached to this board and think what they say and do on it can effect the share price. IT CANT!!!! either realise what these boards are and DYOR or stay well away from them and make your own decisions based on published facts.

There seem too many examples of people with little or no share investment knowledge, investing massive sums in this share without really understanding the inherent risk. Even worse, having this one share as their only investment. I do wonder how many people would say their investment strategy was driven by reading the messages on this (and other ) boards. Anyone with a negative view is a deranper and people love to have a faceless keyboard warrior tell them they are going to make a mint, it will be ok, don’t worry, don’t listen to the derampers. This tome next year we will be millionaires. Bla bla bla

Read through the SM articles published in the last 6 months. The risks were clearly advised again and again.

Investing is gambling and only gamble what you’re willing to lose. If you are will to lose whatever is left then ok (my view is the odds are currently 50/50)

if you are in a dire situation my advise is stay away from this board, read articles on line, read RNS carefully, listen to investor call, and then make an informed decision. Everyone here has a personal agenda not realising this is being naive.

I think they will find a way to continue the mine, the question is at what cost to investors? If people believe this is going to be a 20p+ share again then I just don’t see this as realistic. If people are willing to gamble to see if this goes toward 10p in the next 12 months then I think this is more realistic. My major concern here is dilution. It’s going to go down again before it goes materially up.

Looks like the gradual rise is continuing. Maybe we will break £12 this week. Hopefully positive news on the strategic review will be with us by the end of the month. I’m not sure if they set a timing expectation?

It really is 50/50 where this share is going to go. I don;t personally see certainty in either direction.

Its a gamble either way... Never fall in love with a shares... once made profit move to next one and do not buy on spikes... buy small amounts...

But if this does not go to 1.50??? none of us knows ... this could go to 5 p reason is lot people takes advantage of big drop and share do spike at some point... Look at TCG and all other shares... this want go under even 3 not yet any way...

that's not the point. the point is that for a lot of people 5p is worth nothing, nor is 6p, for people who bought at 4p then your seeing a nice return at those levels. it all depends on your specific case and no two cases will be the same.

agree rrr, and they also need to re-invest the same amount they invested before! not the amount they cashed out at. That in a lot of cases is a huge amount, so a huge risk.... double or quits?

unfortunately, yes a lot of people invested more than they could afford on the dream of making big money (maybe the ones still in will one day). Even worse they invested without a portfolio of varied stocks & funds. But the worst fact is that people probably used this site as a basis of making their decision. At the end of the day rampers/derampers/people who talk knowledgeably without any real understanding on the share or the market (I put myself in that group) are all the same and lots of people will make investment decisions based on what they read here.... crazy. Real, successful long term investors don't read these boards guys.

CF has already stated that Gina / Qatar are happy with their position and will not invest more. Don't you think they would have spoken to them prior to the RNS on Tuesday? Don't have a view on the others.... so maybe???
