Anyone basing investment or share prospects on Motley Fool is deluded. Just look at their articles on ANY company, on day they are positive, then they are negative, then they are positive & negative.

They always use a title as a hook to get you to read and then tell you why you should invest in these other 'great new stocks'....

Zero credibility in my book.

DT, let me give you a different example.

I have 100k of shares currently, I bough in at 3p then sold at 4p then bought at 3.7p, I will double down if/when this goes towards 3p, it's gamble, but I am ok with the risk, the amount and the potential upside from the investment, either from a long term perspective or on the back of a spike in share price due to positive news.

I'm not the only one in this position, and there are plenty on the sidelines waiting to come in. LTH are the minority PIs now, not the majority. I feel for you guys and your situation but the 85k PIs from 3 weeks ago aren't the same as the ones invested today.

At this price this share will continue to attract people and any whiff of news will create a pile in from the sidelines...

I agree, there is only one thing subduing this share price and that is market confidence. Micro Focus never had to reset market expectation and since the HPE spin merger they have done it twice, they recovered from the first one and were back up to £20+ and then the second guidance reset happened. This time the market is more cautious around supporting a share price recovery. Fingers crossed for a strong full year finish!

Not sure, but it has taken a pounding over the last week. Nothing has changed no news and no huge selling or volume. No increase in major short positions.

Strange, I expect that we will return to the £11 mark over the next few trading days and then await something positive to drive the sp from there.

It's Micro focus full year end at the end of October, the market may be waiting to see if any indication comes out at the beginning of November stating that they are within guidance etc.. They released a trading update 2 weeks after their half year end (April end) confirming they were within guidance. I think seeing a similar confirmation for full year confirmation may stimulate the market and investors.

Planning on buying in when it dips below 1p, £5k punt, then wait and see what happens.......

It's a very quiet board compared to the last two weeks, usually that is not a bad sign.. We are now in the doldrums till news, but the sp seems to be stable around the 3.5 mark.....

too early, 3p is the next top up point for me, double down to 200k shares @ 3.3p av and then sit back and watch the **** show unfold :-)
