Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
The BOD got carried away with the panacea of H2, especially touting Hydrogen filling station at Protos for cars. Incompetence, and not having finger on pulse. It should have stuck with basics, and touted DMG as a 'green' method of disposing of waste plastic with a product of Syngas which can be used for electricity generation. Simple. H production can be an 'add on'. It should have made a concerted effort to 'sell' DMG to waste collectors/recycling plants. But no, it thought, and it must have been discussed at length, it would place the building of FOAK, and all other DMG plants in England, in the hands of a 3rd party. Laughable.
Some of The Herd ( and some new members), are still trying to put a +ve spin on the RNS. Such as ' it was not a refusal'. oh dear. The statement released by EML;
Following a recent evaluation meeting, the Commission Régionale Unifiée d'Investissement ("CRUI"), the regional investment authority, was unable to approve the application, and consequently the Company has exercised its right to refer approval'
Plse note, 'unable to approve'. This means 'rejected'. it's very simple. The actual notice from the Authority may have said 'your application is rejected', but EML would not state that. When did EML receive this rejection? A few days ago, a week ago, month, 3 months ago?. This incompetent BOD will keep their snouts in the trough as long as they possible can.
Has a problem with disposal of brine been RNS before? Where has the brine come from? There are salt deposits to be mined, is EML drawing water from these deposits? The most cost effective method of eliminating salts from brine is Reverse Osmosis. For mine lifes of 20yrs, possibly build a steam generated electricity supply plant. 2 birds with 1 stone.
Oh dear, westie is in his shell. Hopefully, he's at HQ banging on some doors. Of course not, don't be silly. I'm very pleased I sold 75% a couple of months ago, and I'm sorry for the posters who have been 'topping up' recently. You had plenty of warnings. As for reducing average at this low price, remember, it still costs you cash and increases your total investment. Beware of 'Death Spiral'. I will still maintain that if ever EISA is approved, sp will hit 15p. That is a good time to buy since unless BOD are complete muppets, £2 will be achievable within 30 months. Ok, so you make £1.97 ps, I 'only' make £1.85. Whose carrying the risk?
Just seen the RNS re' PDMR buys. lol. A weeks wages. It's a red herring. Trying to reclaim some respect. Too little, too late.
Bertmonkey. Listed below is a short selection of posts on PHE with some technical information.

At day 1 when PHE announced the collaboration with Peel, I posted that it was schoolboy mngmnt to put the building of a FOAK in the hands of a 3rd party. One of my main problems with fraud anomoly is that he was fully on board with it, and using his fake PhD ingratiated himself with the BOD and lauding their CV's and expertise, A dimwit when it come to Management. maybe you have noticed from my posting times, they have a pattern. pm UK time, morning in Copacabana where I live. Fraud thinks my houses here are imaginary. This is taking jealousy too far even for a dimwit.
I post on fraud anomoly to warn other investors that he is a serial ramper on PHE, and posters should do their own research, and a good starting point is to read and disect the last 10 years RNS. There's not 1000s.
Mjallan;
'Has anyone looked at this explanation as to why H cars may not be the solution.'
The presenters main criticism is storage. He explains that for a 300mls journey in a V8, it would need c450 ltrs of storage space for compressed H2 gas, and c300 ltrs of liquified Gas. Both, not practical in cars, but suitable if you have large machinery, such as a JCB earth mover. He suggests a conventional tank would only give 50ml of travel for a V8. I have explained in some detail in previous posts why car mfrs are keen on developing H ICE. Simple reason, profit. The majority of car mfrs profit is derived from franchised dealerships on new car sales, maintenance and spare parts. Maintenance on Electric powered motor cars is much simpler, and few spare part requirements, apart from suspension. An EV has no clutch or gearbox. A Tesla has driven 500,000mls with no spare parts fitted to motor. The future is not HICE but H fuel cells, and primarily for LCV, HGV, ships, trains, buses and commuter aircraft. At moment HFCV are too expensive for the vast majority of buyers because of the Fc price.The presenter mentioned HFC as an alternative to HICE, but main criticism is that they are boring. He is a petrol head, and need grunt. For an xtra few £s, he can have a 'grunt' fitted through the speakers. The HFC market is painfully slow since there are only a dozen H stations in UK, and a few more in USA, with Eu slightly better. There has to be a seed change in Govt thinking on GW, to incentive the infrastructure for H filling stations. Naturally, the H should be sourced by electrolysis using 'green' electricity. USA produces of 90% of H , with 95% from Steam Reformed Methane. This is C intensive and not the way forward, but obviously suits Big Oil.
I have maintained from early days with PHE that H is not the driving force for DMG, but sales emphasis should be placed on production of syngas and then electricity. H production is an 'add on' for specific customers.
MysticMat. Clearly can't think for himself and uses the words, phrases I use in my posts. eg. Oddball, childish. You also copied my sp predictions which I posted in January. I dare you to try and post something original. lol
Try again;
'What's your salary, Jim?'
I pretty sure Jim is not a BOD member of a publicly listed company. Such people work on behalf of the owners of the company, Jim, you, me and thousands of others. Their salary is not a trade secret, and is published in the company accounts. Questions on bonuses and thresholds are fair questions, and only avoided if BOD is embarrassed.
Jims salary, if not a BOD member of a PLC, is privy to him, not you try again.
Fraud anomoly.
'As clueless as you are stupid Testtwerp.'
Another insightful, technical post from the narcissistic fraud. I've forgotten more than you will ever know. Only one skill - copy and paste. well done. Get back to your 'adoring' telegram group.
Voltaire. Your suggested 'scenario' is, of course, the death knell for EML. As all the posters on the bb must be aware, I am a pessimist of all things AIM ( with some exceptions). The Herd 'optimists', I consider, are deluded, ATD being the most deluded, closely followed by Westie, MysticMat is an oddball. He changes his spin quite often. Clearly doesn't like being a Herd member, but berates posters, often times with abusive language, who question BOD's competence. I think it was GGG ( should be a Herd member with a name like that - apols GGG), who stated that posters with negative comments, should address their concerns to BOD, or on EML Twitter site. Couldn't agree more. it's obvious lack of interest in S/H concerns is outrageous. Westie, ATD of course, realise these concerns, but insist the feet below the water line are paddling like crazy, even though topside, the animal appears dead. Time will tell. It is obvious the BOD cannot offer, even a crumb of comfort. will the 1/4ly report be a copy n paste of 1/4 one report. ?
They are not coming, they are already here. Problem is the price tag The HFC is very expensive at moment, and only top end marques have a HFC model, with prices £70K +. The Chinese car mfrs have much cheaper HFC vehicles, one I believe they are marketing in India. The most promising sectors for HFC is high price transport. HGV, trains, buses, ships, aircraft. All of these offer the quickest way to reduce C in atmosphere. 30%+ of all oil is used in transport industry. In the short/medium term, solid state battery EV offer the most effective way of combating GW with the obvious provision that the charging electricity is as 'green' as possible. In any case, removing carcinogens and NO2 from our streets is crucial to concerned govts.
Fraud anomoly is only concerned in posts which start,' Dr'. He does not have a PhD. He is a narcissist and that is why he enjoys the Telegram group. Anyone who calls him out, he bans them. He is the little mans bulletin board Trump.
Theworks, but not the brain. Like Mystic, you are totally wrong about forecasting. I dare you to read my posts on SP decline and establish I have been more consistent. Using the word 'likely' , so what, if Mystic had said 'likely' to go to 3.5 -3.8 range. Hats of, but he was out by some margin, on a guess. And, like Mystic, your post has to include childish insults. Look at your education history. !!
Antony Gardner Hillman. Deluded and lies very easily.
Keith Riley. Deluded and lies easily.
Fraud Anomoly. A BOD apologist who lauded the SPV with Peel and now states it's positive news of it's demise. laughable. Bob is either deluded, or a paid ramper. Which is it Fraud.?
Unfortunately, I am not 'new' to EQT.
I was led to believe by this BOD that the primary feedstock for gasification was to be 'waste plastic'. although the company had had success with 'biomass' waste. Waste plastic is a huge environmental problem, biomass is not.
Some posters believe that 'getting behind' the BOD will miraculously give it added impetus, and make decision making so much easier and better. If it were only so. The recent LTIP RNS shows the metal of this BOD. The bar has been set so low, a minor positive RNS will take the BOD into 'profitable ' territory. If the 'bar' had been set at 1p, a level it traded at 3 years ago, I would have been encouraged. PHE is obviously having major problems with 'gasification' technology, so it's no surprise that EQT also has. With 11+ billion shares in issue, there has to be many, big contracts to get the sp to a penny. That would be a proper incentive . If any of this shambolic BOD read any blog sites, comments such as mine should be an incentive to 'stick a finger up' toward me and deliver on promises, which are so empty, if they were in a tin, and it was shaken, it would be a death rattle.
A very good reading. Increase in T/O is admirable, obviously boosted by the 2 acquisitions. The 'new business' gains bode well for future results. Recurring revenue and profit margins are again metrics that bode well for huge S/H gains in the next 2/3 years. Happy to be onboard.
MysticMat;
'Likely to go to 3.90 4.20 and bounce from there.'
Wrong again. It's 3.6 to sell. Stop acting the clown, again.
Ideas. Your comment re: 'optimistic posts' is The Herd.
You are obviously spot on. One of the many that you overlooked was the discussions re: being bought by OCP.
MystinMat. Never downloaded the app. It's Chinese you know. You seem to have a lot of experience with it, how come.
Also, I'm pretty sure D Attenborough is not a user. Defeated again.
CBax, there's still time to return from the Darkside. Out of interest, what type of cheese.?
CBax is a disappointment. He has joined the Herd. The only thing missing is choosing a date and time. Yes CBax, it does sound desperate. lol. Remember, The Alpha has said 'desperation' is bad, because it sends a bad message to the snowflake BOD. Act like men and do nothing. Are you a man or a mouse, squeak up.? Had to get that in somewhere.
On a technical front, it's a 'no brainer'. On an environmental front, it's a 'no brainer'. Politically, it's playing with fire. Only relatively few countries are producers of fossil fuel, OPEC ( and now Russia), have, and will continue to hold sway over production levels, pricing, which affects a plethora of Companies financial metrics. Any country with electricity (all) can produce H2. This is very bad for OPEC, and the 7 Sisters. USA in particular, has a fossil fuel based economy, which the Democrats, through Biden, are trying to change to a H2 one, starting with transport. The way Big Oil fights this is through the contributions ( bribes) it makes to Republican politicians, with Trump receiving the lions share. Unfortunately, in the 'good ol' U S of A, the largest consumer of energy, the country will swing from large investments in green energy, to practically zero, depending on who controls the govt. Politicians putting themselves before the interests of everything else. I must have heard that before, somewhere.
