"I think you need to get a grip! Now you’re holding Reeves responsible for INPP’s low share price (presumably because you think she is responsible for higher-for-longer interest rates"
Of course she is responsible for higher interest rates, EU rate now 2.75% and also holding inflation up with huge spending mostly on her friends who finance the Labour Party and massive additional taxation to pay for it in a country already over taxed. Just look what she has done to Gilts. You can say US rates are high but their economy is growing fast and can handle it.
True all high income ITs, REITs etc were down before she came to office, I should know I own quite a few, some were recovering a little but they down lot more now, not so long ago INPP was £1.30 when RR in office. Even you have to some extent admitted to part of the inflation issue i.e. NI, it is not just me saying this but many other people, all I read or hear is good quality shares ITs, REITs are down because of the high interest/Gilt rates caused by RR. If you want to see some really angry people take a look at the SQZ and other NS O&G shareholders, the SPs have collapsed, just look at the comments about her on their boards, far worse than anything I said.
The only bright point for me is that I have been buying a lot of ITs/REITs which are being wound down, assets sold and cash being returned to shareholders because of the huge discounts to NAV, perhaps the only thing she has done which turns a good profit is the liquidation of good companies but sad to see these go. Also I am moving my investments out of this country bit by bit and so far it is proving to be a very good move.
This is the last I am going to say about this but you need to wake up and smell the coffee, it is not a good place to be or invest in at present.
