… there are ramifications for the UK, it’s all very well the UK Brexity Trump-ites pointing out the fallacy in relying on Russian gas, whilst encouraging Ukraine to **** off Putin, but the UK seems to have missed the point that long term Seplat holders will be aware of, namely, that gas is seen as the clean transition fuel, so in its wisdom, the UK did nothing about gas storage, buying and storing when prices are low, and certainly didn’t see the gas crunch coming when Ukraine war broke out ….

…. we are literally run by a bunch of zealous populist incompetents more interested in making money from politics than doing the job they are paid to do ….. Tory, Reform Party …. Why do people vote for these idiots?

As I understood at the time Gavster Seplat supplied the Nigerian market at a fixed price, but that model was to change in 2023 … doesn't time fly! ….. moving over to a supply demand pricing model … but times are changing again, the EU is looking for Nigeria to replace Russian gas supply quickly whilst also supporting Nigeria in renewable energy generation ….

…. So the dynamics now are very different reading between the lines …. and as I said, I’m seeing hints ….

Let’s face it, Nigeria needs the revenues so I can’t see why it would not look to supply the RoW ….

Seplat has a Domestic Gas Delivery Obligation .... but Nigeria itself is looking to supply the EU/Europe with gas going forwards with pipelines via Egypt and Morocco ... still some way off but if so, then excesses from the Domestic Obligation will presu,mably be at prevailing gas prices in EU/Europe.

More to the point on domestic gas SeaTank … is the ability to sell surplus gas produced outside of the Nigerian market … I’m seeing hints that this may be so in the last results …. But do you have a clearer picture?
