@AJ: They are the same, the only difference is that the update was unaudited, the figures released next Tuesday are audited. Be mindful, that just because a company has a dividend date, it does not mean that they have to pay one! That said, they have stated a payment will be made, DLG are also in a similar situation. Companies can change their mind about payment as facts and circumstances change.

@PI: If you hold shares in Sabre now you will qualify for the dividend. In fact you could buy them at 4:29pm on the 17th and still qualify, as long as you are a holder when the bell hits 4:30 on the 17th you are entitled to the dividend. The payment date will be September. Watching this closely, but looks as if it won’t dip below 100p, seems to be holding steady. GLA.

@Bouveries: There are no declared shorts on ADM, a declaration has to be made when the limit of 0.5% of issued share capital is reached and at intervals of 0.1% above that limit. There will of course be shorts on the company but below the limit. I can guarantee you that the company is not the most shorted in the FTSE and suspect it will be in the in the lower quartile.

Yes, order was filled this morning, at around the same time a 300k order was placed and posted at the same time. I believe it was only in that price range for 30minutes or so, then the SP faded out during the day. Definitely, on my radar on Monday morning, if it dips, I am in. This is a bargain.

@Emerald: Jet 2 has bounced up 20% from last Thursday.

Positive news: The MF have said Jet2 is ‘Not a Buy’ , excellent, always do the opposite of the MF, and it will serve you well.

That type of Editorial is priceless. Not my choice of Media, but with a target market majoring on Lower Middle Class Woman it is perfect alignment. They can afford to pay a premium and it is the Woman who decides when and where for the family holiday. Jet2 definitely positioning itself as a premium player and I hope that they are ringing the tills with their customer advantage price point. I bought 30k’s worth on Thursday morning for a quick in and out and nearly sold for an 8% trade yesterday but now holding for a minimum of 1000p, the tide is ready to turn for airlines and Jet2 is in the front row.

Nice positive auction, bounced up 6% from its low, I think it has found its feet. Having dropped 30% in one calendar month, I think this is a good entry point. A good strong airline/ holiday company which understands service.

MM’s selling off book, to hit 750p me thinks, there will be a few stop losses triggered there, if this goes tits up, IAG are going to get fecking hammered on the 29th.

Managed to buy a second tranche at 788p. The figures are to the end of March, the Industry did not going until the second quarter. Interesting that 35% of package holidays sold, is to new Customers, that figure is positive but bonkers, not many companies can lay claim to that. In today’s market, any news is bad news and with the avalanche of PI’s the City Boys will always be shaking the tree, this does not make sense to me. By tomorrow afternoon we would have made up the gains and even then I will be tempted to hold.

I was looking through my accounts yesterday and on the 28th October 2020, I paid 93p for this share. On that date, we were between lockdowns and there was no Covid vaccine. Further to that, Aviation was at a stand still and we had no planes in the sky apart from Cargo. The markets thought Armageddon was around the corner and it was not certain that e would ever have a vaccine. It is bonkers to see this share bouncing 10% above them low. Fear makes people act illogical and I have stated many times, it is only a loss when you sell. This share will come good and the foundations will start on the 29th.
