RE: More shorts ,18 May 2022 00:56
No one knows Skindle, in the Grand scheme of things 2.3% shorts is not a cause for concern, there are quite a few organisations out there with stronger balance sheets than IAG who have more. It is part and parcel of investing, go long go short throw in a hedge. Patience is the key here, we are in a risk -off environment but give it a few months and it should push 150p maybe 160ish. Too many investors on this BB looking for a quick fix, it will go up when it’s ready. If you don’t need to sell, hold tight and be patient, it’s not as if you are a fund manager looking for monthly numbers. Also, be careful not to compare IAG with American carriers, AA domestic routes represent 75% of their turnover, it is a different business model.
