Way way overdone, I couldn’t get in at the 7’s , but shows the folly of stop losses, a few investors have been skinned today, and when you see your investment drop by 55% it can create rash actions. I feel sorry for those PI’s who had to sell. Those pesky MM’s selling off book, the City and their mates have made a killing today. Ended up just losing 7k today but confident I will break even by the 31st.

No one really knows what Jupiter’s plans are and until we see an RNS we are all p-ishing in the wind. One thing is for sure the SP found a bit of traction today and I feel more confident tonight than I did last night. Let’s see what the auction brings tomorrow morning.

Managed to buy another tranch at 16.26. If this goes tits up I am feck-ed.

I have loaded up at 17p, worth a punt, It might drop to 15p, but when it goes, it will go.

There is one thing for sure, the dust will settle this week. Lots of us on the sidelines hoping it will drop further, but if it gets to below 16p I will be in with both feet. I feel that Jupiter have a few more tranches to sell yet. TBH it looks a great buy at anything below 20p.

If they closed the airport and just concentrated on the Renewables (Biomass) the share would get to 15p! That’s is where 80% of the EBITA is coming from! That is of course a tongue in cheek comment.

@Raxi: It is stated in the TR-1 that was released on Friday in the RNS.

He is a qualified lawyer and cut his teeth into management with McDonalds. He does have some experience with aviation in that he managed an International Lounge Company. A new broom sweeps clean and all that, tbh he only needs a couple of new clients and he will be a hero and I will be happy as I bought a decent amount on Friday for a quick in and out at 10p.

I have been watching this SP for a while, it could easily 3-4 bag in a year if they manage to capitalise on the current situation. Jumped in this morning and will jump out at 10p and I don’t believe that will be too long.

The results were good, not great, but more importantly, they were not awful.

The principles of investing are solid, slow and boring.

The markets will be dwelling on the Q2 performance which was good, the main take away here is that the chance of shareholders being tapped up for capital is zero.

"This result supports our outlook for a full year operating profit".

This weekend will be the busiest in Jet2’s history, they will be operating over 800 flights, hopefully this share will see a rerate next week, the SP was over 1400p in February. It looks undervalued to me.

The Yanks don’t tend to hedge fuel as they all got their fingers severely burnt years ago, when the oil Price suddenly plunged. Their view is, if Oil goes up, we pass it on the ticket. Most of their profits are made from domestic and travel over there is a necessity. I know that IAG are tied into a 2 year hedge but don’t know the figures. The benefit of not being hedged is that you never make a bad hedge! AAL is struggling as they are having to cut schedules due to
Airport infrastructure and the market is responding.

That should of course be 1Q release, but relates to April-June, but you get the jist. This will provide a good indicator and 2 days later, we have IAG’s 2Q release.

Could be a good punt forming here, unaudited Q2 figures being presented next Wednesday morning, if they are what they should be, we could see a nice rise.
