@Paddyboy: like you I made well out of BP and jumped out of BP at the right time and into IAG at the wrong time. I have always been an IAG shareholder but I increased my holding dramatically and currently averaging 2:69 and that is after some hefty averaging down. I believe in this share and as some have pointed out I may be an old fart but I remember recessions going far as back as the oil crisis in the early 70’s . As a shareholder you have to understand things never stay the same, we will come out of this leaner and meaner. I remember the Deepwater Horizon when after a couple of months the shares if I remember lost 50% of their value, I never sold and they came back, IAG will come back and I have no intention of selling my holding in IAG for at least 5 years. I have always said, first thing is to sort the unions out and and the will settle some nerves in the City, a vaccine will come at the very latest by next April. If a vaccine was discovered before Christmas this share will be treble in 12 months time. The markets are scared, RI’s are scared But things will change- you watch, keep the faith.
