George, the SP dropped this afternoon because of AA, they are currently 7.5% down, the cash call is too much dilution and not enough value. There are concerns about IAG and their liquidity and the BOD are not saying much because they want the Govt and the unions on the back foot and the consequence of this is the poor old share holders are stuck in the middle. The BOD need to allay worst case fears to make everyone a bit more pliable to deal with. A share will drop until the value is recognised and I don’t think it will go much further South. Tomorrow morning opening may be a bit tricky but by Friday close it will beat Monday opening , you watch. Have a faith in IAG they have the best BOD in the ftse.

It will rise and you will see it rise this week because the fear gap is closing and you will also see it rise on Monday because BJ is saying it .

This is not news because most people can’t see this being news as they are fearful of Covid, let me tell you if BJ was to announce tonight that 15 airbridges were to open this SP was go up. This is not a rumour news scenario. This is good old fashioned fear and every day we get closer to Friday this SP will get stronger because the fear will dissipate and reality will become stronger and when the news does break the SP will rise no doubt. But let’s see shall we?

PP- Concur. News is not news until it happens. If there was a massive Covid spike it would not happen, It would not happen if BJ and PP Wanted to play silly buggers. When it is announced the SP will react.

Duster, look at that support level 260p the SP did well this morning. I know that the markets are spooked with second wave but as I have stated this share will be blue this week. Also IAG are not running out of cash as Willie is playing a binder, yes I am ****ed off as I lost 4% this morning as I topped up on Friday but it shows the value of the share with Covid and possible cash calls........Watch it grow Duster, be part of it, don’t lose out my friend be courageous!

I am totally surprised about the negativity of a poxy story In a Share Magazine. GS and MS advise FTSE companies every day of the week on strategy that is how they earn a segment of their profits. IAG of course will have concerns about cash flow 95% of their resources are not providing a return. IAG can raise cash from any quarter it is so cheap at the moment, the talk of a rights issue just adds a bit more water between them and the unions and the government. I for one would not be concerned about a 1:3 or 1:4 right issue if the SP was 150p or less, remember the shares might be diluted but the ownership isn’t . If it has got legs IAG will have to issue some release through the RNS but it is all bollucks it won’t happen and watch this SP rise this week. This is the best value share in the FTSE, if you want to worry about something, worry about Covid but not this.

Daggermal, I think you are underselling this SP, if this does not open above 280p On Monday I will be disappointed and I certainly expect it to be above 300p by Friday. I agree it ain’t flying up to 400P anytime soon but I expect a trade range of 320p -350p in the next 3-4 weeks. I have heard people on this BB state that the air-bridges have been priced in, absolute *******s.

I have never heard a fall of 2.97% described as tanking! What you have to remember is that the USA Airlines are ahead of the revival curve, AA has more than doubled since its lowest point, further to that the COVID spikes in the USA made the markets nervous on Friday, It is a much calmer situation in Europe and although we need the International routes the air-bridges will be a start. The skies will open again and COVID will go away and within 2 years this share will have doubled. It will be a blue opening on Monday you watch. This SP has to climb another 140% to get where it was in January, now that is a margin I can live with and with all this foreign holiday talk in the media I am really pleased I took the opportunity to top up on Friday.

BBB- Don’t be holding a lot of BP stock when the reaper comes and he is coming my friend. I can see a possible down side of 15-20% on the SP. I also think it will be announced before the 4th of August, on a Monday, That is BP’s favourite day for bad news.

Aka, I sold 80% of my stock at 3.23 and put it into airlines (Very Risky) the idea is that by the time they announce air bridges and people start flying the divi cut will be announced and I will wade back in and fill my big boots, well that is what the Crystal ball is telling me.

We should see a kick this afternoon, Govt should signed off an Extra 100 billion For qt easing.

In Mid May Brent was less than 30$ a bbl, now it is over 40$ and languishing at the same SP. I guess what Is happening is that investors are off-loading to avoid the divi drop. FT are stating a 40% cut I think it will be more, let’s see, Come on Bernard! but this share out of his misery surely we don’t have to wait 6 weeks.

Considering all that Covid **** hitting the news feeds that was a good result.

I think we can all agree that the breakthrough Covid treatment has generated a great deal of buzz and excitement. I am of course aware that it won’t prevent the illness but if you catch it and end up in hospital things look better.

This is the first bit of positivity I have heard for the last 3 months and more importantly it will push all those investors in who are still on the periphery including financial institutions into buying stock.

There was a wobble this afternoon over the water which is now corrected and the strategy review certainly did not help out course (But will in the coming weeks) but tomorrow is going to be a day of sunshine, I can feel it my friends.

S&P 500 just had a big drop seems to come from a MSCI report predicting stock market losses this year, most shares behaving erratically including IAG, let’s be thankful positive Covid Medication news hitting the press or we would be in the ****.

The price is dropping as the IAG group have consulted an organisation to carry out a strategy review. The aim is to look at liquidity and equity initiatives, the markets always get spooked by this type of thing. It will be a temporary glitch. As this was sailing over 300p this afternoon.

I know some people can carried away on this BB but I bought in heavily this morning as this will fly over 300p today and never come back. It will have a trade range of 320 -360p and next week with the quarantine debacle relaxed it will Go 400p. I can’t see it flying above 500p until the American markets are open and the Union stuff is sorted. Covid is behind us and the sky is blue and when everything is back to normal IAG will be a money-making machine. I won’t be jumping off at 3:30 like last time.
