For all those you who sold yesterday, you might have screwed up. I have a significant holding in IAG and if I can catch 1 or 2% it is significant, the reason why I won’t sell it that I am afraid I will miss the boat, when this share goes it will go. Mark my words it will 300p by the the 1st of September.

What I can tell you is that tomorrow morning the Sun will rise and tomorrow evening the Sun will set and Mankind will strive for a better and more interesting life. I have just returned to my hotel after having a tasty meal, a few beers and a couple of nice glasses of red. If you are in IAG for the short haul, **** off now, if you are here for the mid term you will not lose, if like me you are here for 5 years you will treble your money. IAG is an excellent long term investment, I couldn’t give a **** if it drops to 50p because in the long term it will 700p plus.

PS: Don’t listen to those virgins sitting in their bed sits investing in penny shares from their paper rounds, they are miserable twats.

@TMT: it makes good business sense to place yourself in the best possible situation to enter into negotiations. The unions and the government are both after them but “ It is hard to kick a
Man when he is down” I have heard often on this BB that IAG should soothe shareholders concerns and offer some comfort. This is not going to happen and until the union stuff is sorted everything will be conveyed in the worst possible light. I believe IAG have orchestrated this situation, I would do the same. Those figures in July will be horrible, then the following week the letters are going out to the staff and In the present situation poor IAG are in survival mood so leave us alone.

I will hold for 5 years so I know I will at least double my money if not treble, the two largest operating costs running an airline are wages and oil, think about it? Our competitors are floundering, the Americans are looking inwards, the Europeans have governments sitting on their boards and the low costs are closing hubs. I can understand short and medium investors are scared of this share, but come September the 1st it will be 300p: There will be days in the next seven weeks when you see this share jump 10% plus.

Regarding this chat of a RI, this will not happen the SP is too low and too volatile, Can you imagine the news being released at 7am on the RNS, you would see a 10 to 20% drop in the share price at 8am, further to that what would the discount be? The sums don’t add up.

IAG don’t need the cash yet, they need to sort the Unions out first and if they need cash it will be an institutional placement which is still highly unlikely but more likely than an RI.

Fair play to those who have not bottled it: you will be rewarded. As I have stated on this post before there will be no national lock downs, Countries will just learn to live with it. I can see the SP rise next week and the half year figures at the end of July will be expected. The terrain will be calmer come September.

One thing you will never see me do is reply to these idiot ****ers who deramp IAG, they know nothing about the aviation industry, it makes for a boring BB.

I actually thought this SP would have been higher by now, things are looking positive, IAG is flying again and long-haul, Covid is weakening and the prospect of a vaccine by November is highly likely. When the USA comes on board we will jump and this will be weeks and not months, when they talk of positive cases over there most of them are asymptomatic, this is why the American stock markets are taking no notice of Covid, look at the Dow futures today. All this talk of sub 200p price is absolute bollucks the Price to book ratio of IAG is less than one, not bad for a ftse money making machine.

I was being civil with SP and I was simply advising him why I have not been heard, I see little point engaging in BB discussion when you are not a shareholder. Sneaky Pete: I have sold all my shares in BP and put everything into IAG and I have to say things are stirring there and the future looks bright, 5.70 % today and tomorrow looks even better. There is no share in the FTSE that will have a rebound like IAG when things start cranking up.

As you say I am an old school oiler and Bernard just does not cut It for me, all this bollucks about alternative energy and getting rid of profitable assets was the last straw. I have a feeling that when they cancel the divi or part of it some large finance houses will throw the towel in, let’s face it fund managers need to make cash and don’t give a flying **** about green issues. I can see that SP falling sub 280p when the hatchet comes. I can’t complain I have done well out of BP over the years but unfortunately things never stay the same. GLA.

Looks like it will be Friday before the announcement but it should more flexible including several long haul destinations. Shorters, look carefully at your positions! It will be an interesting opening tomorrow. The whole fiasco is going to play right into IAG’s hands.

Newbie, why the **** would you want to sell your IAG shares in August? They will just be taxing on the Apron in August, sell them when they are at 36,000 ft, in 12 months time. IAG is a different beast from them one point ****ers we fly full in winter.

Moonman, do not fear I am here and I did post earlier advising people not to panic and stay calm.

I only own one share now and that is IAG having sold all my beloved BP shares because they have became tree huggers and giving up on the black gold that makes them tons of cash.

I can’t believe I got more of these shares at 212:3p what a bargain, I am up to my eyes in IAG shares, well worth a punt on a beast that is going to roar like a lion. Watch this baby fly tomorrow and Friday.

Daggermal, if the BOD throw us a bone they also have to throw a few to the Unions and Govt, it is called effective negotiation, always start from the lowest point.

There is no doubt that this share will have gapped up over the weekend, the perceived value of this stock has risen. What has not been priced in is the public’s desire to travel and now talk of International routes, the sentiment is now more positive and the opening will be at least 235p. I was completely surprised that the SP ended in the red on Friday what spooked the market was the rumour that the air-bridge deal has been modified but the
modification turned out to be more positive. There isn’t a share in the ftse that has a rebound like IAG, if a vaccine was discovered next week, the SP would be 600p by the end of July. As it is if Covid is kept at bay I can see it bouncing 300p in a couple of weeks. That said, this is a day traders share and will always have a bit of Volatility, I agree with Bricks the SP has bottomed out, just as well as I am running out of cash averaging it down. This is a good time to be a holder of IAG stock. Keep the faith.
