Mystic, I agree with your view but I think we will see oil reach at least 45$ pb by the end of June if not 50$ If demand continues to crank up. The absolute minimum break even of shale is 55 -60 $ which is why you are seeing the WTI price coming towards Brent as Shale is not bringing it down. Russia wants to finish shale off but Saudi oil will be pushing for higher prices and Russia lower. Putin is a real thorn for OPEC as Russia can live with the current market better than most. One thing is for sure this is a good time to own BP oil stock at 3:36 a share. I for one believe we might see a lift tomorrow regardless of the Friday profit takers.

Cedars you have to remember that as recently on the 20th Feb this share opened at 467 today it is 338, **** happens every day but this 38% variance is down to Covid 19, no spike or bad news and this share will only go one way, if there is a vaccine moment it will back to The 450’s and above. VenturaKing I love your optimism but this share won’t hit 360 tomorrow, it won’t even break 350. I believe it will be a negative opening, not a lot, maybe a couple of pence, but the sentiment Is less positive. A month extension to the cuts will not propel a 3:50 charge, tomorrow will be a more sober affair.

Oil prices down slightly, the EIA report was a mixed bag but what breathed a bit of life in the share is Russia and OPEC hoping to extend cuts. It shows you how dangerous it is to short this share no one could have called that drop and return this afternoon. It will do well to stay above 3:40 by close.

Don’t be too hard with Caitlin, at 2:45 this afternoon I was convinced this share was going South again and sold my total stock and looking at the numbers coming In I realised that this was a mistake and it cost me 800 quid to come back in. The days of this share floating back down to 300ish are over, this could test 3:45 plus by Friday if the OPEC+ meeting goes the right away- shorters beware!

A bit of resistance coming through now, it might get a leg up at 2:30, the shorters (myself included) are thinking is this the time to sell? I still feel this share will see 3:05 again.

I sold out this stock some weeks ago, If you strategy is capital dump it. The share has came down 45% in two years and will bump down at least another 15% in the next 12 months. Fair play if you are a long term holder and milking the divis but the recent bank finance is a sticking plaster. I would not discount holding a small stock to benefit from a take over, they are the smallest of the big four and are pussy cats compared To BAT and Marlborough, also it looks like some of the big investors have given up on the share which will drag it down further.

I do chuckle at these message boards and They provide excellent entertainment. Oil is volatile which is what makes it an interesting stock, if you want safety buy ABF now that is is a rock solid share. If Trump farts this share moves and money is made regardless of which way it goes, if you want my two Penneth this share is ready to go, the clever part is selling on the up because it will come down the secret is not to hold any stock when they cancel the dividend, now that is the clever part.
