RE: Another Cash Call Coming...17 Oct 2018 14:10
I hear all you say and don't dispute it, which is why I'm looking also. The difference between Tomco and most others, is that they are all mostly able to move to another field/reserve, whereas Tomco are not able to as easily.
From memory, during the 80's BART programme, they were able to produce a barrel for somewhere between $10-$15pb. I remember working out that it equated to somewhere like $25-$30 in today's money.
There are companies producing conventional barrels for less. In my opinion, this RF test is only valid if its test reveals that the cost pb can be brought down alongside the cheapest competitors.
Unless I am wrong in my thinking, the RF tech will require periodic new drilling due to depletion within the frequency ranges of the well heads.
RF technology's advantage is in cleanliness, and hopefully cost. If the costs aren't reduced, then it may well be a tech that turns out to cost more from having to drill more often. Therefore, in my view, it is imperative that the cost pb needs to be around the $15-$20 range....effectively rendering nodding donkeys and electric pumps etc as second option.
Tomco is under the radar and does have a tiny mcap, one whiff of success is all it takes and this price will be gone!
However, the risk of early dilution(pre results), given the circumstances, is too great, as explained in the last post. Added to that the possibility of RF failure, then I think it's better, whilst already out, to stay out until the placing, or until success.
I just wanted to hear other peoples opinions about this matter, and thanks for your contribution, your points have been taken ;)
