One hopes that the new directors will be asked whether a return of capital should actually take place. They might well have a different opinion to the present BOD.

Any dividend or capital return gets built into the share price as soon as it is announced. That is why market announcements are usually made outside market hours.

There may or may not be movement in the share price depending on how much an announcement was already expected.

Following the Q & A, has anybody worked out what Nanoco wanted from Samsung other than money ?

Here is a company which talks about markets in £billions but is expecting to get by on £25 million. That looks like a recipe for going nowhere.

We can obviously learn from recent scandals that there are usually a large number of people that think there is nothing wrong.

Something odd about those results. BT is the bete-noir of these boards yet he fares far better than the NEDs.

So, even according to NGR, the funder did OK and Nanoco got about half a fair settlement.

The appeal should certainly have been more worrying than some seem to believe for it only required Samsung to dig up some relevant obscure university paper to have a chance of success. That said, it seems very odd not to let the jury trial go ahead to put additional pressure on Samsung . Being found guilty repeatedly is not good PR.

Can"t think why you expect the problem to go away when it seems to be pretty clear that Nanoco has had inadequate management for over ten years.

At least that is what I voted for, on the basis that Nanoco needs a change of management but that Hamoodi"s list is not particularly attractive.
