RE: Look at Cora Gold17 Apr 2026 16:50
Indeed good example, was holding that one (but holding far more in Landore). Definite read across here. Similarly in doldrums for a good while, strategic investor onboarded with operational experience of region, followed by today's news and the story changed completely. If that can be achieved in Mali, Ontario should be an absolute walk in the park.
Interesting thing about Cora's resource as far as Landore goes was it enabled them to forecast ~64k oz p/a for 5+ years, or $300m+ revs at today's prices. I see nothing stopping similar here, despite our bombed out share price.
The one thing I would say from perspective of being in both companies is Cora had advantage of extremely good management, with shareholder interests at forefront. The jury might be out on that front here to be honest - but at same time I see directors as expendable. The resource is what really matters, and 650k oz in Canada speaks for itself.
