There is a awful lot to like here. It is good to see them respecting everyday joe shareholders unlike so many other companies in this space.

Frankly they had me at btc + gold + this tiny market cap.

Then add in financial backing from the Qatari Royal Family with all their unlimited wealth plus the level of due diligence they would have to perform before putting money in, and you realise this really could be something special.

This has the makings of something special.

When you look at some names in this sector that have absolutely skyrocketed, including one or two doing 50x - 100x, it genuinely does make you think about where this could go.

It's actually a hell of a story to have Qatari royalty backing. Those guys have almost bottomless cash and could have chosen anything to invest in. I don't know of any other London listed btc play stock that can make claim to have that level of backing. Add btc AND gold into the mix and the potential here speaks for itself.

You're always going to be on losing side trying to argue with gold + btc + royalty. Outstanding.

US holidays over last couple of days has meant they will have missed these updates too but US all in on btc plays. Will be interesting to see what happen next week when they're back at their desks. This isn't really a UK stock but one with global selling points. Coupled with that btc purchase coming up could be explosive.

Why have they announced a bitcoin purchase only from the latest funding, but not one from when they raised money over a month ago?

In today's announced purchase they say specifically say was funded through latest cash from 30th June placing.

But in May/early June they raised £500,000 to "initiate the Company's newly approved Bitcoin ("BTC") Treasury Reserve Strategy". What doesn't add up is they've only announced this one latest purchase. Key question for company to answer is did they buy any bitcoin from that first £500k, or not. If so why hasn't market been told how much.

Peel Hunt potentially facing scrutiny from exchange means they'll need to be on their best behaviour. They would be mad to carry on as they were. Should alleviate selling pressure from them.

The reason nobody serious will ever buy in here is because of the fee structure.

Management fees includes a performance fee of 20% applied to the "portfolio appreciation". This is taken annually satisfied with shares going to management. The fee is NAV based so applies regardless of market cap. The greater the value they give to any hard to value illiquid holdings, the more they make. Guess who values those assets?

This 20% fee on gains is also charged in addition to their various consultancy fees.

In 2021 (last proper alt bull market) it amounted to £30,144,241! But it also applies every year the portfolio goes up in value.

This permanently limits upside.

Indeed surely they'd be insane not to at this point. Key goal of any board should be to deliver shareholder value, all anyone cares about really, looking at chart they've not done that at all but this gives them that chance. Free money really

Of all the top 50 altcoins it's curious how many of these UK microcaps are putting funds towards Bittensor specifically.

Here it seems most random of all. First they say we're going to have Solana focus, then raising money for Bitcoin specifically, now seemingly at random they announce putting funds into Bittensor. Olivia Edwards has never been on a plc board, or employed by any plc, or has any background with crypto at all, but has found herself running this company exec chair here putting shareholder money into TAO.

Lovely exit liquidity for someone.

They did a few retail bookbuilds last month alone, if this particular one institutional only not actually a big deal. For all we know they had some whale who wanted in quickly and time constraints meant they weren't able to open up the book more widely.

These guys are book building in rapid succession and buying bitcoin with proceeds very aggressively which is exactly what you want to see.

The stock is tradeable on IG - only because they don't require Crest settlement.
