This held up pretty decently today next to peers, seems telling to have a bit of a divergence from pack. As usual livened up in the pm once US buyers active again. With upcoming newsflow might well be on for a Fomo Friday here.

Good question. They should have consolidated ARBK keep it above the $1 threshold years ago, absolute no-brainer.

They did say "It is Argo's intention to maintain the Company's Nasdaq listing" - but it will be out of their hands unless they consolidate in next 6 days.

It's so absolutely down to the wire, honestly given all the personnel changes and general incompetence here would not surprise me if they've actually forgotten all about it. tbh I was only here for for that Nasdaq listing so looks like that's my cue to exit.

Key thing now is last of retail panic should be over with this morning, plus those IIs fronting £1.5m are going to want to see a return on that, so we should naturally find a floor here. Especially once OTC wakes up, sense US investors literally don't care about Leni and will chuck money at anything btc. Then assuming btc does its thing this should bounce nicely.

Actually you need to double that market cap. Obviously you haven't taken into account the enlarged share capital after placing. No point misleading people.

Hama has been very good to me so will always have a soft spot for it, but full disclosure opted to de-risk a chunk here, didn't want to push my luck in case this is a local top. Diverting profits into BMV which I reckon will see decent flows as other key gold/btc play. GLA

Lol this board has become silly now. For some reason this particular stock generates very strong opinions on, either way.

End of the day this is likely to hover around placing price for a day or two, nothing worth getting hugely excited about whether you're bullish or bearish here. If they announce a decent enough btc buy and btc continues to go up, the stock will naturally follow. The end.

Makes sense to me, rip the plaster off now and get it over with. If btc continues to do its thing people will soon get over it and this will naturally soar again.

The key is that £5m+ is huge relative to market cap. An ambitious target but if they can get anything close to that, and we'll find out in the morning, they'll be positioned as second most cash rich btc treasury by far in UK right now. Not a bad position to be in.

The raise price will be dictated by the institutional investors.

In an ideal world no placing would ever be at a discount, but practically speaking those fronting the funds can't be made to pay any more than they want to.

Btc looking very good this evening, could be in for an epic few days here.

Anyone remember when this reached a £1bn market cap in 2021? I guess I was one of the lucky ones to actually exited early enough here back in the day to have ended up in black, but for sheer value destruction Peter Wall should really have won some kind of award. Seeing a 500,000 share trade this week go through for about £10k reminded me would have been circa £1.5m at that peak.

Hopefully goes without saying this is a now a very different prospect, high risk, high distress, punt money play. I'm only here now because JPM are.

This is tough on holders from before price drop today, and the price action leading up to it a bit suspect. But fwiw Coin did a similarly discounted placing last week and dropped that day, retail sentiment down, the message board literally just bears, it then quickly retraced 18p -> 25p.

There are differences between the stocks, not least Leni overhang here, but the positive switcharoo at Coin happened when they announced a fresh btc buy. If these lot get their act together and do similar quickly following this raise I'd expect it to bounce.

In here for the reversal.

Yes KR1 have missed an absolute open goal. Name any eth treasury at this point. In fact as far as companies with eth on their balance sheet go, this year KR1 must now be the worst performing on the planet. Quite an achievement.

Root of the woeful performance goes back to original post in this thread. Sensible investors won't put up with management enriching themselves to that extent at the expense of shareholders.

There is only one bitcoin. Everything else is an altcoin.

BCH was bitcoin fork in same way litecoin and dogecoin were btc forks to become new altcoins.

Actually pivoting to an altcoin like BCH at this point would be a disaster. Well, more of a disaster.

SWC have benefit of scale which enables them to unlock more capital utilising their mammoth market cap.

Coin are at an earlier stage valued at around 10% of SWC last time I checked, so we are talking apples and oranges here. SWC also started with a tiny market cap and initially bought only very incrementally while they built up equity capital.

The beauty of this sector is that it is not a zero sum game. We can have more than one success story - just look how Michael Saylor nurtures btc treasuries around the world. He doesn't see them as rivals. The more entities that buy btc the better it is for everyone in this space.

Agree being aggressive is key, I believe AGM Friday unlocks authority for new share issuance, then we can enter that magic hyper accumulation phase.

The way I see this having potential now is as a low cost Nasdaq shell with a btc interested share registry. The legacy mining stuff seems dead, would surely be a waste of time plugging those machines in now. But before the LSE listing goes there will have to be a corporate action to convert the LSE shares into ARBK equivalents, which should then leave an unencumbered primary Nasdaq listing. I don't know what that's worth to someone but could be this is JPM's angle.
