Europe is a mess this morning. Many still trying to digest the rammifications of the gas pipelines exploding and what it means for future energy sources and costs in Europe. Is Europe about to go into a depression - not a recession but a depression.
Knickers and how big does my bum look in Kim Kardashian's dress might not be the priority of Truss, Ursula Von Der Crazy and the other female European leaders. Then again...
LongerGuy - why do you say bottled it? BOE should have gone for higher? 1%?
BOO began rising after the BOE rise came out. Not seeing it with ASOS. MKS and TESCO also up. Probably sees them buying cheaper with a slightly stronger Pound. I have not got a clue how the retailers like BOO are fairing. I would assume that people are tightening their belts and not spending on clothing. But I thought that during lockdown and did not realise that everyone was online buying knickers and dresses. It is too expensive to go out now with the price of drinks and food in pubs. Why buy a new frock if you are staying at home freezing?
What do you folks make of this? Claims that 3 BA pilots have died in the past week.
Not posting for any vaccine politics but simply wondering the implications for airlines if it turns out that this is an issue.

S&P Futures just dropped below a key support level of 3915. Now holding at 3910 with next bit of support at 3908. If that goes we could see a big sell-off in shares. Early yet, they might pump it back up above 3915. If the US sells off then the UK will.
This is an unknown stock though as it is clearly in demand and new. But if big boys have to dump everything then they dump everything. Not advice. DYOR.
Revenue of 2.1 MILLION Aussie bucks I meant.
The £100 million market cap was reached 2 days ago wasn't it, when the share price was about 4p?
Should be £200 million now considering the share price has doubled since then.
Not bad for a company which made just 2.1 AUSSIE dollars in revenue last year.
Do these figures add up? Make any sense?
There is a paragraph in a Telegraph article today about adding Spain and the US to the red list. Another article mentions the red list variants already being in several EU countries including travel destination Greece.
This is being ramped like crazy. Those 4.4million shares sold for 2 mill yesterday could easily be distributed to Joe Retail in the coming days at higher prices. You have no idea if that is going to be a longterm hold.
