Again one short got reduced but it might come back up ( same as yesterday). Lets keep the stock for another month and when see what happens. It has to come back up to £15 for sure

What a depressed stock :D all european airlines down and usa at record levels. Hope this is the bottom or there abouts, not selling yet. Fundamentals are still there: oil is down, mideast conflict is getting better and interest rates continue falling.

Whole europe needs to get the grip on economy. They are inbetween china and usa with no clear direction foward. At the moment only prospect is to lick americas ass and get some benefit from AI cause they got nothing of their own.

Might be worth putting in tesla/ nvidia or similar instead of looking for cheap eu stocks

I dont think it is an option.

To my opinion best would be to strengthen sanctions to the max and expect their economy colapse whithin a year. It is already going tits up with 8% inflation, 21% interest rates which dont help and ruble going down against wester currencies.

This way war would stop for good and for long term.

Also I think it will be important to know how war is going to end. For example things coupd be worse than how it is at the moment. If everything is given to russia including frosen money they will recoup military strength more quickly and go again to ukraine or even more (eastern europe) where majority of wizz market is at the moment.

Recouping wont take that long and putin knows sanctions wont hurt them. Would be stupid not to attack again knowing that their economy is war economy.

I have a feeling that war wont end in 1 day. It might temporarily cease but even bofore that it might get even more on the edge as is happening recently.

New and more rockets, sabotage... likely sabotage could be in airports like happened in gatwick. It might have been false alarm.

I agree that ending wars and reducing interest rates would be greatly beneficial to wizz air. Good news that shorts are reducing, if nothing changes shares should now climb back to 1500 or higher

Like I said before, I will monitor these prices and see if there is any improvement. if not I will probably sell. Why Varandi not buying shares at these low prices?

Same flight from luton to bratislava between Jan 1st and March 20th. Ticket prices are 18 pound, some days maybe 22....

All I was saying is that ,as I am frequent flyer , I've noticed that current ticket prices are similar to what we had during covid times with half empty planes. I will and monitor prices myself and this will be my own additional determination for keeping , selling or buying these shares. All this recent panic and selling started after O'Learyr said fares were lower, and it turned out that fares were lower by approx. 5%. it just shows how sensitive market is to flight prices

I think main difference is debt. This is why stock is being shorted and if wizz struggles to make money shares might go down

I've checked yesterday some flight ticket prices and for same flights Wizz is asking for twice lower ticket prices compared to Ryanair or Easy jet. Not sure if this is some kind of smart strategy but it doesn't look good to me at the moment. Maybe this will change next month. If this persist I might take money out.

I'd say it will definitely get back up to £15 and probably before year end. This is when I'll compare ticket prices and see if it is worth keeping or selling. Also need to remember that it is still November and usually most of shares are in the lows.

Would also help if CEO or some insiders would buy shares at these low prices, at the moment they are not loading up.

I think this is due to sluggish EU and UK economy and low consumer spending. US is in great possition and it shows in share prices. Most of us airline shares are up around 50% from September lows

Spirit been going bankrupt for over a year now. It has old planes, bad management and no clear strategy. Cannot compare to wizz.

Other airlines are in trouble for example SAS with rats crawling out of meal boxes. Lots of large well known airlines are strugling because they dont have clear direction and therefore failed to upgrade their fleet. Ryanair, indogo are flourishing and same will be with wizz . Wizz has also newest planes

Apart from wars and escalations what no one can predict, whats the next update/ news wizz air needs to give for stock to move?

Doent look like fairly good earnings report caused movement in either direction. Will it be jan 30 q3 results? Looks like stock is going to be fairly flat 12-15 pounds for another 2.5months...

Its all because of long range weapons and russian nuclear doctrine.

Nuclear war wont start and if it does all stack market would go tits up. Not just wizz air. Just over reaction and good price for shorters to leave. No one can credict war

On the other side all companies agreed that fares are rising again but I just bough one way to fuerteventura woth ryanair for 17 pounds. This is insane price for 4.5h flight, surely they not making money from these rock bottom prises... hopefulle fares start going up

It is a shame that smaller number of planes could not have been grounded at the time. Say 10 instead of 45. 10 planes would not have made any difference to operations.

Wont be garbage once wars and engines issues are over.

Ryanair has similar business model so market cap can be compared against them. Wizz has more debt but ryanair has old planes.

Looking at passenger number wizz should be at 5.7bn and now is only 1.5bn.

I'd say ryanair is a good reference point to compare against ryanair as similar business. When wizz specific issues are sorted it's price should be similar to ryanair's (obviously divided by difference in passenger numbers).
