Wizz are flying to israel and because no competition from others they sell tickets for 300 or so. I am expecting good June passenger update and also Q1 which will have easter included

If this doubles from current price I've got my early retirement started

Anyone know any other reason apart from cheap SP why CEO & other director would by shares for considerable amount?

Insiders know, i have no doubt £12 is very cheap. CEO would not buy for £84k to prop up the market

There is backlog so they get new planes as fast as airbus can deliver them.

I just dont understand why cant they just get new engines instead of full plabes and fix bew engines to grounded planes. This way they would not have to pay double depreciation for new & for grounded. Any idea? Maybe it is some technical answer to that

I think Q1 results should be good. Compared to others, wizz continued israel flights.

PE should be 10 not 5 knowing that capasity growth is back and is faster compared to other airlines. Also knowing that issues which will be solved at some point should ve considered in higher PE.

My opinion is that this sp should ve at least £24 after results. Fuel lower, wet lease is over which cost over 100mln, and only 35 aircraft on the ground which will gradually be reducing either with spare engines or solved p&w issue

You can paint any picture you like from results, with current price PE is 5 and it wont get any worse than this with significant improvement in 2027. I'd say this is a good entry point.

Yeah, with this hot and harsh they are changing strategy and will ve moving from middle east.

Q1 i believe they promissed to give some kind of guidance on 2026. If fares are going up, all should be fine.

I still dont get why they could not give guidance in this report. They could of given wide range and when every quarter adjust it as it nears nyear end. I think this was translated into fear and sell off today.

This is new base level of £12 & PE of 5.8 (net profit 214mln). PE is prety low and it might be oversold level.

Feels like september 2024, a year has gone and nothing happened. Everyone would be looking again at imprevement on same issues. I hope they not going to loose patience with investors...

Judging from conference call, next year might only be marginally better due to increasing capsity, lewer fuel costs and hedged fx but costs going to be a drag same as previous year. More guidance to be given July 24.

Prediction for 2027 is brighter but it is too long in the future. For the years after they are dreaming about their own ownership of the plabes same as ryanair.

Again, worst is over (same as was said last year) but not great for another year still. Impatience caused this drop today

Snapshot from Q3 results:

'Financial performance: Decrease F25 from the range of €350-450 million to €250-300 million before any H2 unrealized FX losses; Reported F25 full year NPAT likely to be in the range of €125-175 million at current FX rates.'

Operating profit delivered 167.5mln in the range of 125-175mln. What's the problem? Airline had 2 options, either focus on the earning or focus on maintaining same capacity. They have increase capacity and still managed to maintain profitability.

Engines complete messed it up for them, they should of had over 70 planes grounded if not additional/ spare engines. Fuel is going down and market is improving with revenue growth. Currently with 167.5 profit and 1250mln market cap they are only 7.5 PE ratio.

Yeslam, than CFM....

Wizz's only leverage in negotiations is to get more of these crap engines. So they can keep 'good relationship for the future'.

Should of had same airbus with Rolls-Royce Engines. Boeing are crap, this is why ryanair not taking all the market

I think it depends on the contract's terms and conditions. Compensations would be different for each airline as different airlines have different profitability. This would not be in P&W control and contract would not cover I think

It was exaugurated panic, need to direct flock of sheep the other way and SP will go up. Everyone is now focused on bad numbers and tottaly ignoring good ones. This RNS was a mixed picture with good and bad news. It is all going up from here... this is why support is strong at £12. Same price was 4months ago

Compensations probably does not cover all business costs if everything was covered, no other airline with similar problems would be complaining. Indigo are in the situation but their SP is going up as they are in india not in saturated european market. This is why wizz are trying to get into india.

If you focus on the profit only ofcourse it will look bad. This is a grow airline and they will have their moment when they will get their planes back from the ground. Future still positive. Market is getting saturated, but more and more people travel.

CEO just needs to be more upbeat, he could have painted a lot better picture during conference call.

Fall might be an overreaction:

All that was bad was due to pratt & witney issues. Revenue grew, capacity grew but profit fell. There will be a positive narrative once dust settles, Q1 results are in 7 weeks and they should look better than ryanairs in revenue terms (Wizz are continuing flights to Israel with low competition).
